This looks a tough meeting for a Sunday card. The false rail will be four metres to the 600m position and at the true position for the remainder of the course.
With showers forecast the track rating of a Soft 5 (Saturday) could be downgraded.
There are plenty of chances on the eight-race card and suggest watch for betting moves and any track upgrade or downgrade.

No3 EPTIMUM showed he was on target for a big effort fresh with a strong second in a 1000m Gold Coast trial before coming down to Victoria. Not here to play marbles and with Ryan Maloney riding respect.
No5 MILORD showed plenty of pace at his debut when finishing off well to claim third in a 1200m maiden at Pakenham on September 12. Top jockey Michael Walker again rides and has a far superior gate in one.

No9 WEAPON Having his first start back from a spell and showed enough at his debut when finishing fourth over 1100m at Morphettville on March 3. Looked spritely at his trial finishing second over 800m at Cranbourne on September 8.
VALUE RUNNER: No6 NIGHT FALLS

No14 HOLY MIND appears the omen bet on a Sunday. With the scratchings of many runners come in high here and would forgive last start when ran 11th over 1206m in a maiden at Benella on September 7. Was the $4.80 hot shot but there was a glitch.
No6 DALAHOUSE is drawn to have a soft run throughout and the multiple withdrawals helps the cause here. He did trial well to finish fourth over 900m St Arnaud on July 4. The distance of the trial was far too short and better suited here.
No13 HIYAAM is a nicely bred filly from the stables of Mick Price. She ran a handy fifth over 1400m in a maiden at her debut at double-figure odds. She will benefit from the multiple scratchings here and the distance will suit.
No8 OWN SWEET WAY would expect improvement on her debut third over 1200m in a maiden at Warrnacknabeal on September 2. She is from the stable of former British trainer Matt Cumani and from gate five has claims.
VALUE RUNNER: No8 OWN SWEET WAY
No2 TORREGGIANTE showed class to boot away to a smart win over 1800m at Sandown on August 30. He is a winner at two of his past three starts and from barrier six should get a cosy run here. Looks a safe bet.

No2 SANG CHOI BAO his trial form was excellent before finishing third over 1121m at Geelong last start back in December. Has the winkers removed and gets top jockey Brad Rawiller to steer first-up. Would pay to respect.

No5 MAGNESPRIT with the scratching of All About Nicci gets a chance here to shine and battled on gamely last start to run a close seventh over 1000m at Pakenham on August 20. Will be fresh and gets the in-form jockey Luke Nolen to guide.
VALUE RUNNER: No7 INDIAN THUNDER
No7 KIWIA (BEST BET) has been in blistering form winning two of his past three starts. He trumped them as a red hot $1.90 favourite over 2400m at Caulfield on July 29. Ace trainer Darren Weir has the polish on this bloke and he has a perfect record over this distance here with one start for one win.
