No1 DASHING SPECIAL comes out of an ok enough Class 1 last start and comes back to maiden level here. This is his chance to win.
No8 STATE OF PLAY up to 2000m should be much more suited, she hit the line well enough last start and gets a soft run.
No4 RATIONALE gets blinkers on for the first time here and they should spark him up, from gate 1 Shinn should stalk the speed.

VALUE RUNNER: No1 OROKONUI
R3 – 2.20pm. CAMPARI MAIDEN PLATE - 1300m.
No7 GROUNDBREAK (NEXT BEST BET) comes out of some very good races in the first preparation. Being one length from Veranillo, two from Dicimus is pretty handy form and the trial since the first-up run was quite good. The form out of the fresh run has stood up too and he should be winning.
No1 SMOOTH WHISKEY has had many chances, but was ok fresh.

No1 I AM CAPITAN gets a good claim for JVO here and finds what is a winnable race for a country horse.
No6 PRINCE DYLAN pulled up with an issue last week when starting fav, willing to forgive that effort and go off previous form which is good enough.

No2 SHIELD WALL has trialled well coming into the first-up run here and gets all chances with Shinn.
No1 OUR ANNIVERSAIRE comes out of a good race last start and drops back to Class 2 level here.
