Warwick Farm brings us public holiday running in Sydney where we have eight races coming to us. Some nice enough races coming to us today which should take us through the midweeks going forward. Rail true and track good.

Wide Play: 1,4,5 - 1,2,6 - 1,2,3,5 - 2,3,8,12

Next Best Bet: R6 – 2. PHILOSOPHY

No2 GUIPURE resumes here and comes out of a good race on debut where the form has held up well. The trials coming in have been quite good.
No1 LUCKY LOUIE ran third in the Gimcrack on debut this weekend last year, safe to say she didn’t go on with it. The fresh run was good.
No3 IMPROVISE finds Bowman here and has been good in both runs this time in and should run well again.
No5 OXFORD BELLA has been good in both starts this preparation and getting out to the 1300m is suitable.
VALUE RUNNER: No3 IMPROVISE
No6 TANGMERE by Frankel has been given a good education by Waller in the leadup to the debut run. He finds a winnable race here.
No5 KOOKABAA should be much improved for the first-up run where he was quite good and 1300m suits.
No10 ZEPPELIN (BEST ROUGHIE) comes out of some good races in the first preparation and has looked to have trialled in good style leading in here.
No2 DEPRIVE is very well bred and has been trialing well coming into this. I trust Cummings to have his horses up and running and ready to go here.
VALUE RUNNER: No10 ZEPPELIN
No6 LEAD CHOREOGRAPHER (BEST BET) won in very good fashion fresh and showed that he came back in quite good style and as some of these imports do, improve at the second Australian prep, Waller seems to have gotten some sprint into his legs and he could be on his way to Melbourne for the carnival.
No5 CHAPELCO improved quite well second-up and should do so again.
No7 ALL BUT GONE carries no weight after the claim and was good enough in the Dubbo Cup last start.
No4 KARAVALI has had to go back to the trials since the last-start failure and did what she needed to do there.
VALUE RUNNER: No7 ALL BUT GONE
No1 ALWARD comes well back in grade after a last-start win in Saturday grade and yes he is hampered at the weights, but gets a good claim.
No2 REGAL MONARCH should improve second-up from a spell here and has had two good trials since.
No3 OLYMPIC ACADEMY has been going quite well as of late and is an honest horse who will keep on trying.
No5 EXOTERIC was a good winner last start when wining at the track and distance and should run well again here.
VALUE RUNNER: No3 OLYMPIC ACADEMY
No5 SAMANTHA resumes here and brings some better carnival form to this race, she has trialled well coming in and looks hard to beat.
No4 HIGHLY GEARED looks the likely leader here and is at her best when allowed to roll along in front.
No1 KAEPERNICK is the best horse in this race but hasn’t won for nearly a year, if he wants to win he can win.
No2 STRATURBO is a winner second-up in the past and had to do too much work first -up.
VALUE RUNNER: No 4 HIGHLY GEARED
No2 PHILOSOPHY (NEXT BEST BET) is one of mine and we have been on her many times in the past with good success. She was good enough in the Tibbie and we will know by now how good that form is. She is at her best over 1400m and with a soft run from gate 5 she looks the one.
No1 SKYLIGHT GLOW drops well in grade also, but needs to lift here.
No5 CANBERRA is in great form this time in and can take that next step again here.
No6 SISKEN resumes here, she is a nice mare who could be on her way to something better than this.
VALUE RUNNER: No5 CANBERRA
No2 HALLELUJAH BOY trialled well leading into the fresh run at Caulfield and didn’t run well there. Forgiving that and going off the trials.
No3 JAMINZAH has been back to the trials since the last start run where he should have won, this is weaker than that and he should run well.
No5 PEACOCK has never lived up to the early wraps on him and wasn’t too bad last start and the trial was good.
No1 O’REILLY’S REVENGE was a big winner last start with 63.5kgs. He drops to 61kgs here and is in quite good form.
VALUE RUNNER: No5 PEACOCK
No2 GOOD TIME CHARLIE resumes here and has trialled in good order coming into the fresh run and should run well at home.
No8 VALIDATE comes out of some good races last time in and has been trialing well coming in.
No12 MOSSMAN GORGE looks the likely leader here and back to the 1000m here is much more suitable than the 1200m of last start.
No3 TO EXCESS won in good order first-up at Kembla and now coming to town should run well.
VALUE RUNNER: No8 VALIDATE
