Wyong is our Thursday provincial meeting this week and we have 8 races on the card. Maidens to kick off then some better quality races in the quaddie legs. Small fields for most of the day but hopefully we can find some winners. We will be racing on a Good 4 and the rail is +2m.

QUADDIES (races 5-6-7-8)

Skinny Play: 2,4,6  -  3,6  -  4,9  -  3,4,6

Wide Play: 2,4,6  -  1,3,6  -  1,4,9  -  1,3,4,5,6

Next Best Bet: R2 – 3. DELOS

Best Roughie: R8 – 6. LAMMA HILTON

R1 – 1.20pm. Gerard Lighting Maiden Plate - 1350m.

No4 SMOOTH WHISKEY comes into this race third-up after two second placings, finding it very hard to break through for a win but looks to set up very well today.

No3 NOBLE TRUTH is the one coming out of the stronger races last preparation, trials have been OK, will improve as it gets out over a further distance but could be the one with some upside.

No2 HINCHMAN led first-up at Hawkesbury and fought on well enough in the straight before being grabbed late, will be on speed again.

No7 BROADLEA Comes through city races where was well beaten, could do something, hard to line up here.

R2 – 1.55pm. Cabac – Haneco - I.P.D 3YO Maiden Plate - 1600m.

No3 DELOS (NEXT BEST BET) did a good job last start at Canterbury when led and gave a good kick before being run down late by the smart Kaonic, up to the 1600m here and will lead again, looks very hard to beat.

No5 ZEPPELIN comes here second-up after resuming in town, had its chance but this is much easier and will be on the speed.

No7 LUCKY LOUIE has run on well in its two starts this preparation, up to the 1600m suits and if they go hard in front, could run over the top of them.

No1 ALL TOO HUIYING comes out of stronger races, struggling to win, this is easier.

R3 – 2.35pm. Rebelec – Sal - Electra CG&E Maiden Handicap - 1200m.

No3 SIAM (BEST BET) comes here first-up after coming through very strong races in his first two preparations behind some very smart types, has been trialing well coming into this, looks to get a good run just behind the speed and I expect him to be winning this.

No6 SO BIZARRE comes through a solid race in town first-up, went well enough, this is easier, could be caught three wide on speed here though.

No8 RED ZEPHYR went pretty good first up at this track/distance, form is solid out of the race.

No10 TEN CARAT has contested city races in its two most recent starts, stepping back in grade suits.

R4 – 3.10pm. L&C Ind/Pak – Prysmian - Davis Legend F&M Maiden Handicap - 1200m.

No12 IOWA comes through city races where she hasn’t done much, this is easier and race experience is a positive in this race.

No3 MISSYBEEL did a good job on debut over this track/distance, will show natural improvement and can lead here.

No2 BROOKE comes out of the same race as Missybeel, form has been good out of the race, in this.

No10 STELLARA is on debut here and looks to have trialled OK.

R5 – 3.45pm. Clipsal By Schneider Electric Class 2 Handicap - 1200m.

No4 RED HEARTS looks to be the one with some upside in this race, will improve second-up, back to the provincial’s suit and looks to map well.

No2 OXFORD MAGIC pulled up lame first-up, has trailed well since and won second-up last prep.

No6 PRINCE DYLAN won well last start at Hawkesbury when leading all the way, can go on with it here.

No7 LEAP OF LEGEND was behind Prince Dylan first-up, can improve here second-up at the 1200m.

R6 – 4.20pm. Omini – Omega – Evolt Class 1 & Maiden Plate - 2100m.

No3 LA CHATTE was dominant last start at Kembla, will get a good run here, if can handle the step up to 2100m she should be winning.

No6 DASHING SPECIAL is racing very consistently and the distance here is no concern, can lead and has fitness on its side.

No1 TOKYO KING is going OK, comes out of a 2400m race last start, so distance no concern and is very fit.

No9 PANGOLIN did a solid job at the Gold Coast last start, 2100m no problem.

R7 - 4.55pm. Legrand Australia Benchmark 65 Handicap - 1350m.

No9 GROUNDBREAK was way too good for them last start at Hawkesbury when breaking through for its maiden win, this isn’t a strong race and can go on with it here.

No4 SO SPIRITED is going well this prep, should be peaking here third-up and can’t knock winning form.

No1 BRIGHT FUTURE comes through city races, stepping back in grade suits, maps well.

No3 HAMMOND LANE was OK last start, can be on speed here.

R8 – 5.30pm. Brilliant LTG – Kingray – P.S.A. Class 2 Handicap - 1600m.

No4 LASZLO went good enough last start, looks to peak here third-up at the 1600m.

No3 CHAVO did a good job first-up in the same race as Laszlo, should show improvement second-up.

No6 LAMMA HILTON (BEST ROUGHIE) raced in stronger company last preparation and was outclassed, might still want further distance but this is a horrible race and wouldn’t surprise me to see her running over the top of them late.

No5 LIFELINE PRINCESS was racing well in the country before being unlucky last start at Kembla, give another chance.
