Kembla Grange for the Saturday meeting supporting The Everest, pretty disappointing day in fairness with only 50 horses accepted to run over the 7 races, where are all the horses? The track is going to be good and the rail is +7.
QUADDIES (races 4-5-6-7)
Skinny Play: 2,4 - 1,4,6 - 7 - 5,9
Wide Play: 1,2,4 - 1,4,5,6 - 6,7 - 2,3,5,9
BEST BET: R1 – 1. GAULOIS
Next Best Bet: R6 – 7. CUBAN SIZZLE
Best Roughie: R5 – 6. LORD KINGSLEY
No1 GAULOIS (BEST BET) finds in the best way of saying it, a pretty bad race. He should be giving the field at least 3kgs more than he is. The form out of the fresh win should be more than good enough for this. If he doesn’t win it, I’ll happily buy him for $50 and a sausage sanga.
No3 DANCERS has been good in both starts and should run second.
No4 LEWINSKI has been going ok enough as of late and will either earn $2920 or $1380
No2 SHADOW VISION will be watching his shadow as that will be his company in the run.
VALUE RUNNER: No1 GAULOIS
No1 PLEASANTRIES should jump and lead and run them a merry dance here. Debut win was good.
No3 MOLLYFIED was slaughtered last start and Hutchings will want to give it a better steer.
No2 FLAME OF LOVE gets King and he could well try to be a cowboy here, but at best he will earn $2920
VALUE RUNNER: No1 Pleasantries
No6 SWEETEST EYES has been trialing in good order coming into the debut run here and finds a weak race.
No4 LADY ELIZABETH was solid enough fresh and should be much improved for that second-up.
No1 HAYMAN was a big trial winner coming into this, not sold on that as the stable rarely do that. Watch betting.
No3 CHEERFUL CHARLIE finished off ok enough fresh and is next best.
VALUE RUNNER: No1 HAYMAN
No2 GRIMOIRE finished off in good enough fashion first-up in that small field. Three weeks between runs is good and he has a chance.
No4 EQUAL BALANCE was a good winner last start at the course, and the step up to 1200m shouldn’t be an issue.
No1 EXCLAMATION has had a trial and freshen up since the last start failure. The trial was good and he is in well.
No5 ALLIED POWER comes here third-up from a spell and looks set to peak. He should arrive late.
VALUE RUNNER: No1 EXCLAMATION
No6 LORD KINGSLEY (BEST ROUGHIE) won well upon resumption, the step up to the mile should not be an issue at all considering she placed over 2000m on a Saturday.
No4 SHIELD WALL should improve a lot second-up from a spell up to a mile where she has won at before.
No1 HOT MONEY finished off in good order first-up from a spell and the 1600m holds no fears at all.
No5 DASHLEY DUBH has been going quite well winning the last two starts, but now steps up from class racing to BM level.
VALUE RUNNER: No6 LORD KINGSLEY
No7 CUBAN SIZZLE (NEXT BEST BET) should just be winning this race on debut off the trials coming into this. She finds a very weak maiden and we know that Gai does love to start some of her smarter horses off over 1000m a Kembla (English, Global Glamour) from gate 2, she jumps, runs and should win.
No6 SYLVIE deserves a win and will get one soon, exacta horse here.
No5 STUNNER has been doing a good enough job at the trials coming in and should run well.
No2 OUR GIRL HOLLIE looks to be next best here and should run well fresh.
VALUE RUNNER: No2 OUR GIRL HOLLIE
No9 SANSA finished off in very good order on debut and looked to be one for the future. Staying at 1300m shouldn’t be an issue at all.
No5 STAR OF NEW YORK on debut gets the blinkers and has been trialing quite well, he is going to be hard to run down.
No3 FALSTER is a big watch on debut here after a quiet trial leading in and Gwenda’s horses always need to be taken notice of at home on debut.
No2 CHINA GALE comes out of some very good races in the first preparation and the form out of that has held up quite well and the trials were good.
VALUE RUNNER: No3 FALSTER
