No1 MIRACLES APLENTY Trialled well and the disappointing first-up but strong win in Toowoomba since.
No7 HEAVENLY STRANGER First starter who caught the eye with good trial win at the Gold Coast when ran fastest of the morning.
No4 CEOL NA MARA First starter who has not trialled. But from a strong two year old stable and is bred to be a swimmer if we get further rain.

No6 BONSHO Promising having won this track twice. Has a lot of pace and can overcome tricky barrier in first-up run here.
No2 VALFIERNO Won his past starts in easier class but going well, likes wet tracks and has the inside barrier which is a big advantage here.
No10 HOT GOSSIP Beaten a nose in a deceptive finish last time and then protested unsuccessfully. Should have won for sure last time but this barrier no help.
No11 ROOI ROE Country form has been good with seconds past four starts. Harder here but stable never come to the city unless they have a genuine chance.

No5 REDEX Has been racing well on provincial and country tracks. Never out of the place in five starts including three wins. Ready for Saturday class with a light weight.
No6 CABIN FEVER (BEST ROUGHIE) Won at huge odds first-up last campaign and then ran well with no luck in stakes races during the winter. Has had an easy trial for her comeback run.
No2 WONDER BOOM Has been in great form at the provincials with two wins and a second past three starts. Has a bad draw here but pace to overcome it.
No8 RED HOT MISS Form has been solid with good fourth in a Saturday race at Ipswich last start. Has no weight here after an apprentice's claim so respect.

No15 CLASSY RUBY At second run back from a spell was a very good third this track over 2000m. Has strong staying form in Victoria and rates very highly here.
No16 HIGH AFRICAINE Won staying races at Toowoomba and the Gold Coast past two starts. Bred to win a Melbourne Cup and coming good late in her career.
No11 MISS ARABELLA Had little luck first two tries at a middle distance but a much better run last time when second this track. Each-way here.
No5 SKYTREK Won the Lismore Cup and then no luck at all last time when unplaced in the Port Macquarie Cup, This suits and will be good odds.

No9 FREDDIE FOX TROT (BEST BET) A likely winter carnival horse who has won his past three starts in handy company. Not harshly weighted under the Plate scale and has a decent barrier. Very hard to beat.
No12 ISLA TRISTANA Has good Sydney form in previous campaigns and strong effort when came from last to be fourth at Ipswich last time. Suited this track and distance.
No10 RIPPIN ‘N’ TEARIN Consistent at the provincial tracks and not badly placed here from a handy barrier.
No2 SUPER SUAVE Better run last time when third here over 1200m and better suited this trip.

No8 ST HILARY Has struck some softer tracks lately and won her past two starts. She is in a slightly harder race but ready to win in Saturday class.

No1 FALKIRK DRIVE Has finally had some luck in his races and won his past two starts including one this track. Up in the weights but racing well.
No12 THUMBS UP Another racing well at the provincial tracks and has been placed around some good horses. Won two races lately and has an each-way hope here.

No5 WITH A PROMISE Stakes-winning mare who has had no luck two runs back from a spell. She is well drawn and should get the run of the race.
No4 TOO GOOD TO REFUSE Good return run when just off the placegetters this track and distance last start. Always runs home hard and just needs luck in the straight.
No3 CANTBUYBETTER Was set to resume last week at 1050m but race was washed out. Better at 1200m and is a stakes horse against a pretty ordinary field. Has won first-up.
No13 RED BOWERS Returning to city racing after more than a year of racing in the northern rivers. Won the Murwillumbah Newmarket two starts back and no luck last time. Drops 7kgs in weight.
VALUE RUNNER: No3 CANTBUYBETTER
No5 NOW YOU SEE Survived a protest to score second win in a row this track last start. Has been most consistent and should be hard to beat from the inside barrier.
No1 DON'T TELL MAMA Promising mare who is getting up in the weights but has a 2kgs claim here. Has an excellent first-up record so respect.
No10 MY GIRL HAYLEY Has been racing with great heart with two wins and three seconds past five starts. Never far away these type of races. Not harshly weighted and another well drawn.
No3 AMERICAN DIVA Made up good ground in worse part of the track when mid field first-up. Gets back in her races but can finish very fast.
VALUE RUNNER: No1 DON'T TELL MAMA
No1 TORGERSEN Won his first race in two years at the Gold Coast last start. On his day he is a stakes performer and was beaten only two-lengths in an Epsom. Up in weight here but has a distinct class edge.
No14 LORD COCONUTS Has been a while between wins but keeps running home well in his races. Has a terrible barrier and but very well in at the weights after a 1.5kgs claim.
No2 LORDAG Down in class on recent efforts which have bene in handy open company races. Likes this track and is claiming 2kgs here so respect.
No7 DREAM FINNISH Honest mare who won first-up at Ipswich and then nice third in open company at the Gold Coast. One of the main chances.
VALUE RUNNER: No14 LORD COCONUTE
No6 PRIVLAKA First start since May but loves this track when the sting is out of it and has won three times first-up.
No8 COURTZA KING Powerful win at the Sunshine Coast first-up and has won second-up. Looks to have finally lived up to his potential last start.
No2 CRUISE POWER Strong win two starts back at The Sunshine Coast before he didn't handle a bog track here last start. On his day would win this.
No11 IN HIS STRIDE Isn't far off being a stakes horse and was second in this year's Eye Liner Stakes. Resuming here and while he usually takes a few runs to hit his best he is very well off under this weight scale.
