Ipswich (Wednesday) Betting Preview & Tips
Betting tips for every race at Ipswich. Today’s best bet is in race 7.
Ipswich has yet another midweek meeting with some solid fields. There has been rain and storms about again and this means the track will be at best on the softer side. It usually suits horses who can lead and get to the middle the track early in the straight.

No3 PRIMAL TOUCH Has a tricky barrier from this start but placed past two in stronger maidens. This distance looks ideal and can finally break through here.

No2 TIME TO ROCK Placed past couple in the northern rivers and looks like this distance will suit.
No6 WOOLOOMAN SKY Led last start which didn't suit and has had two recent placings when ridden off the speed.

No5 JOMAR'S ELEMENT Form is sound but loves this track and has a 3kgs claim here. Could lead and be hard to run down from barrier two.
No4 HONOUR 'N' STRENGTH (BEST ROUGHIE) Talented but gets back in his races so often strikes trouble. Fitter from first-up run in a tougher race.
No1 TAMBO'S HEART Resuming here but sound in a recent trial. Has a win and two placings from three starts this track. Has a very good fresh record.
No2 TYRANNIZE Very strong at the finish when winning at the Gold Coast last start. Some more rain would help.

No4 DUKE OF CHRISTOPHE Has won both his starts on this track including one at this trip. Looks well placed here at the weights.

R5 - 3.10pm. UBET Fillies and Mares Class 2 Handicap - 1350m.
No2 ISLA TRISTANA Has some good Sydney form from last campaign and no luck last start when fourth this track at 1200m. With a better run in transit can win at this more suitable distance.
No1 DEER MOUNTAIN Form this area strong since coming from NSW. Just run down in far harder race at the Gold Coast last start.
No5 COLLAR'S UP Has had two well-spaced runs this campaign but both were handy fourths. This type of race suits nicely.

No1 BOOM BOY Trialled well and then two good seconds at only two starts. Has a tricky barrier but better form than most here.

VALUE RUNNER: No3 JOEL
R7 - 4.30pm. XXXX SUMMER Colts, Geldings and Entires Class 2 Handicap - 1350m.
No7 SANCTUARY COVE (BEST BET) Outstanding maiden win two starts back and then no luck in a far harder race last start. This is a lot easier and should be hard to beat.
No3 CAPTAIN EYCHE Has had plenty of chances this class but never far away and this isn't overly strong.
No5 BEAU ISA Had good form last year and resumed after 10 months break for easy Beaudesert win last time. This looks winnable.
