No1 TABBING returns to this track after finishing sixth over 1000m at Moonee Valley on October 27. Previous form here was most reliable and will drop to 57kg with the 2kg claim off apprentice Raquel Clark. From barrier two should get a pretty run and makes strong claims.
No3 DEXTER YOU DEVIL looks poised to cause an upset with two brilliant wins at Port Lincoln behind him. Latest he flashed home to post a flawless 5 length win over 1210m on October 27. This is a higher grade but on his form at his home track makes a compelling case.
No2 PHELPS GLORY has a change of rider with Victorian apprentice Chris Caserta taking the reins after a short seven-day back up following his third over 1400m here last Saturday. Caserta’s 3kg allowance drops his weight down to 54.5kg and looks a really good chance on that.
No4 BALWARRA GOLD is a lightly-raced galloper having three starts for a win and a second. Was first-up when finishing fifth over 1100m at Gawler on October 29. Drops a half-kilo to 56.5kg and gets top jockey Joe Bowditch to ride from barrier four. He can bounce back.
VALUE RUNNER: No3 DEXTER YOU DEVIL
No4 SET TO SPARKLE (BEST BET) has won twice and been placed third at three starts. Looks very hard to beat in a small field of only six runners and can be the banker for the day. She thrashed her opposition by 3.9 lengths over 1412m at Balaklava on October 256. The combination of trainer Tony McEvoy and jockey Jamie Kah have been devastating here. Should win again.
No2 SHOW BENDER is a last-start winner and is down 4kg so a few pluses.
No6 CONTAINMENT drops 4.5kg for the rise in class here and her form is first class. Has admirers.
No3 FREEDOM ROAD is searching for a hat-trick at this track. Cannot fault on form.
VALUE RUNNER: No6 CONTAINMENT
No5 PENNY FOR A POUND with the 3kg claim of apprentice Victor Wong will carry no weight on 51kg. She has a great record at this track and her last run was okay when finishing seventh over 1500m in the Gawler Cup on October 27. Has lots to like here.
No1 IT AND A BIT found the winner too strong when finishing second in the Gawler Cup (1500m) on October 27. He still fought on well and he does love this track. He is burdened with the top-weight on 59kg but does get top jockey Dominic Tourneur to ride and is a chance.
No2 KING’S PARDON pay to give him another chance on his 10th in the Gawler Cup (1500m) on October 27. He does boast speed and he drops down in class on his prior ruins at Morphettville where he ran okay at Listed level. The in-form jockey Jason Holder is the new rider.

VALUE RUNNER: No2 KING’S PARDON

No5 DOLLAR DOLLAR BILL has been a brilliant winner at Gawler and Murray Bridge over the mile at two of his past three starts. He steps up in distance today but he gets the in-form jockey Todd Pannell to ride. He should be on the speed from gate three and is a good danger.
No2 DANOULI was locked into a busy finish when running a close third over 1600m here on October 28. He has two wins over similar distances and should relish his step back up in journey. Gets a riding change with Joe Bowditch to ride on 57.5kg. Has a good alley in eight and will be on the pace.
*SCRATCHED* No8 RED RAIDER faded out of the proceedings last start when running sixth over 1600m here on October 28. He showed plenty of grit to win here over 1300m four starts ago. He gets top Adelaide jockey Clare Lindop to ride again and is worth forgiving for his last-start effort.
VALUE RUNNER: No8 RED RAIDER
*SCRATCHED* No3 ANGELUCCI had bubble burst when he ran eighth over 1600m here to Wasabi Bob on October 28. He was at his brilliant best at previous two starts claims great wins over 1500m at Gawler. He gets his chance to extract revenge here and respect.
No1 WASABI BOB will be going all out to keep the baton here after blazing to a brilliant win over 1600m here on October 28. Raquel Clark’s 2kg claim helps negate his weight increase dropping his impost to 58.5kg. But he still goes up a whopping 3.5kg on his last win. Will be there again.
No4 RUPTURE has only missed a place once at his six starts. Latest ran a good second to Surf Cruiser over 1612m at Strathalbyn on November 1. That was only his third start back from a spell and he has the pace to be up on the pace. He was a shade disappointing but is worth forgiving here.
No2 BEAU RIVAGE may not be in the same league as his famous pacing namesake but he is worth thought he on his last start close fourth to Wasabi Bob over 1600m here on October 28. He does rise 2.5kg to 59kg but this is not a strong field. Can’t dismiss.
VALUE RUNNER: No2 BEAU RIVAGE

She was well-backed into a $3.70 favourite that day and punters can get their money back by following up now. She was a fighting winner over this trip two starts ago and has no weight again on 54.5kg. Great shot.
No3 DUCKWORTH was resuming from a 42-week spell when finishing right on the heels of the leaders fifth over 1050m here on October 28.
No1 MYSTIFIED has a great first-up record and is resuming from a 13-week spell.
*SCRATCHED* No6 VICKI’S BOY gets in with a light weight and has a solid first-up record. Each-way thought.
VALUE RUNNER: No6 VICKI’S BOY
No7 AVOID THE MISSUS (BEST ROUGHIE) was plunged into a $2.80 favourite when racing at Strathalbyn on November 1. She flashed home strongly to run a close second to Show Bender, but the plunge misfired. Gets her chance to redeem here.
No3 FEDERAL COURT can rebound here on disappointing last-start sixth over 1200m here on October 28. He was a strong winner over 1250m here two starts ago and with Victorian apprentice Chris Caserta’s 3kg claim has his weight reduced to a comfortable 56.5kg.
*SCRATCHED* No1 COSMIC LIGHTS returns to his home track after a sorte in Melbourne where he ran seventh over 1600m at Moonee Valley on October 6. He was backed that day from $8 into $5.50 but he compounded. Is back fresh from a break and out to redeem and the distance suits.
No5 CAYMAN NITES was taken up to Darwin where the plan misfired finishing 10th on the oil track over 1300m back in June. Her previous form was outstanding with three wins and two placings at five starts. With the 3kg claim she carries no weight on 52kg. Worth looking at.
VALUE RUNNER: No7 AVOID THE MISSUS
No3 MAGNUS KNIGHT romped away to a 2.2 length win over 1200m at Gawler on October 29. He went strongly to the wire that day under 55kg. He goes up to 57kg but gets ace rider Jamie Kah back on board and has a good record at this track. Looks a strong chance again.
