No3 SUPERIOR ROSE struck a quagmire and looked like she did handle the bog when finishing 14th over 1600m against her own sex at Mornington back in early June. She has a good first-up record and would respect.
No5 MIANINA from the top stable of Team Hayes and expect a bold showing fresh. She only raced once and finished eighth in a 900m maiden at Bendigo back on February 18. She has had plenty of time to mature now.
No7 SEEKING ALPHA has been given plenty of education in trials and is a West Australian-owned debutante who has shown good form in the lead up to her debut. The daughter of Pierro has drawn perfectly on gate two.

No5 MY LITTLE OLIVER (NEXT BEST BET) looks to have his hoof right on the till with two good second at his past two starts in the country. No9 THE CHARMER is from a top stable and was given plenty of time to mature with 24 weeks off. Would keep an eye on betting.
No6 PARADISE COVE has been freshened up and does like this track so would keep safe tonight.

No11 TRISCILLA is a well bred filly by Exceed And Excel and would respect at her first start in 21 weeks. She was well liked at $7.50 second-up when finishing sixth over 1000m at Sandown back on July 19. Well down in class tonight.
No6 TAPESTRY RED is a three-year-old gelding who has been placed at his past two starts in the country. Latest he ran a close second in a 1000m maiden at Terang on December 4. He has race experience on his side and the form on the board.
No1 DREAMS ARE MADE OF gets top jockey Jamie Mott to ride in a moderate maiden. She gave a solid effort to run eighth at her debut in a 1000m maiden at Terang on December 4. The experience will have done her good.

No2 CHARLIE CHEVAL is noted for his strong finishing bursts and will be a key player here on his last start strong fifth over 1500m at Mornington on December 8. He likes this track and from barrier two should get a nice and soft run.
No1 TUFF BICKIE was given a break of seven weeks following his eighth over 2400m at Geelong on October 25. Previous form in the city was rock solid and he strikes very moderate opposition tonight over the shorter course of 1600m.
No4 NO INTENTION she absolutely shone last start when scoring a brilliant win over 1406m against her own sex at Benella on December 9. She was heavily backed into a red-hot $2.80 favourite and got the money. She is right in the mix.
No3 CALL TO JUSTICE gave two strong performances before fading to finish a disappointing ninth over 1600m at Bendigo on December 6. He was a big drifter from $10 to $19 that day. Prefer to give him the benefit of the doubt.

No9 TAGREEDA (BEST BET) hails from the top stable of Mick Price and comes here with a strong win as a $3.10 hot shot over 1400m maiden at Wodonga at last start back on September 11. Price has given her a trial where she ran second under no pressure over 990m at Cranbourne on November 27. The daughter of Fastnet Rock should get a soft comeback in this field of moderate performers.
No3 MISSILE BOOM resumed from a long spell with a great third at Mornington first up. Should be improved.
No7 REDROUZ expected to come to hand quickly and would keep most safe tonight.
No2 SHY FRANK likes to race on the speed and went to the paddock for a spell on the highest note.

No2 FILIUS loves this track having scored his second win here over 1000m back on November 7. Was raised in class when finishing seventh over 1000m at Mornington on November 23. He is fresh and back on his favourite turf.
No3 THE CONSIGLIERE has been ultra consistent with a win and three placings at his six starts. He ran a great second over 1100m at Geelong on the synthetic back on December 3 when the meeting was transferred from grass because of the downpour.
No7 MERRY MAGIC is a lover of this track with three wins and three placings at her eight starts. Latest she ran a cracking second over 1300m here on November 24. She won here two starts ago against her own sex and looms with strong claims.
No5 DESERT GREY is a five-year-old gelding making his return from a 21-week spell. He has a rock solid first-up record of two seconds at three starts. Apprentice Brandon Stockdale rides but he cannot use his claim and rides at his listed weight on 59.5kg.

No1 GEE WHIZZER comes to Cranbourne from a strong third over 1400m at Pakenham on December 4. He was heavily backed into a red hot $2.80 favourite that day. Drops to 60.5kg with the 1.5kg claim of the apprentice.
No5 VAIN TYCOON Team Hayes has brought a strong line up of gallopers to this lowly meeting and this galloper was a smart winner two starts ago at Ararat over 1300m. Last start he ran a good sixth over 1300m at Sandown on November 29.
No4 TUSCAN RED (BEST ROUGHIE) has been well schooled at the trial scene in preparation for his comeback from a 42-week spell. Latest he romped home by 3.5 lengths over 1190m in a heat here on November 27. Looks to be primed.
No9 GERSHOM should come back well after having a freshen up of three weeks. Latest he ran a steady sixth over 1200m at Yarra Valley on November 25. Stable jockey Matthew Allen rides for local trainer Robbie Griffiths. Each-way.
