Betting tips for every race at Hawkesbury. Today’s best bet is in race 6

Sat, 16 Dec, 12:00 AM

Hawkesbury for provincial racing here in the Sydney region this Sunday. Small fields are the calling card today, with races being on the last few days and a lot next week. Still there are winners to be found. Rail in the true position and track will be good.

QUADDIES (races 4-5-6-7)

Skinny Play:  1,4  -  4,5,6  -  2,6  -  5,6

Wide Play:  1,2,4  -  4,5,6,9  -  1,2,6  -  1,5,6,7

Next Best Bet: R2 – 5. BALLET ROSE

Best Roughie: R1 – 3. FOLLOW SUIT

R1 – 1.29pm. Design and Create Kitchens – Bars Class 2 Handicap - 2000m.

No3 FOLLOW SUIT (BEST ROUGHIE) drops well in grade here from the two runs at Canterbury and should be suited by the bigger track here, I’m not dropping off yet.

No2 COONAWARRA dropped well in grade last week and flogged them running away from them. Up to 2000m no issue.

No1 BEIJING BOARD drops in grade after a solid effort last start, he won well here previous.

No4 SHE’S MAGICAL looks to be next best here, and the drop in grade suits.

R2 – 2.04pm. Blacktown City Hot Water Maiden Plate - 1100m.

No5 BALLET ROSE (NEXT BEST BET) has been trialing up in very good order leading into the debut run, she is brilliantly bred and has shown good ability in all trials. She gets Avdulla on, on debut who rides the provincial tracks so well and she should make a winning debut.

No4 SO MAGIC has also been trialing well coming into the debut run, she gets a soft run on the map.

No11 WE HAVE LIFT OFF comes out of a good race on debut and was SP fav there. Long break, but trials good.

No3 HOLLYWOOD ROSE found the line well on debut and should improve for that.

R3 – 2.39pm. Elevated Arbor Care 3yo Maiden Plate - 1400m.

No12 RIGHTEOUSNESS has been trialing in good order coming into the debut run here, 1400m shouldn’t be at all an issue.

No4 CHAVIN should be much improved for the first run for a long while. The step to 1400m is suitable.

No1 ALIK resumes here and has been trialing up well coming into the fresh run where 1400m looks to suit.

No11 ANGELIFY has been well educated leading into the debut run, and with Hyeronimus on, should run well.

R4 – 3.15pm. Newoz Concreting C,G & E Benchmark 65 Handicap - 1400m.

No1 LEGISTATION comes out of some good form races and has been going well enough to run well here.

No4 OUR BARTY has been going well enough in both runs this time in, and should run well again.

No7 BOCHY has trialled up well coming into the fresh run. The 1400m shouldn’t be an issue at all.

No3 MACARTHUR has trialled up in good enough order leading into this. Looks a chance here.

R5 – 4.00pm. JSJ Roofing F&M Benchmark 67 Handicap - 1400m.

No6 TYCOON STREET has won the last two in good order running right through the line. She looks the leader and the one to catch.

No5 MACKELLAR’S LOVE has trialled well between runs, and brings solid enough form to this. 1400m suits her.

No4 BOLLY is the second of the Bridge horses here, she does have good ability, 1000m to 1400m second-up a touch of a worry.

No9 JINGLES won the maiden well before going for a spell, the trial coming in has been good enough.

R6 – 4.39pm. Onrail Prov & City Maiden Handicap - 1100m.

No6 WE HAVE LIFT OFF (BEST BET) comes out of the Calaway Gal this weekend last year where she started fav off two good trials. She has since changed to the Widdup yard and has been trialing quite well coming into this. She looks to be Magic Millions bound and would need to be winning this to go there.

No2 SPEED AND STYLE was good enough on debut and should take a lot of improvement from that.

No1 KATHAIRE has put a good little record together thus far without winning, think the same happens again.

No3 NERUDA comes out of a good race on debut and has been trialing well coming in.

R7 – 5.14pm. McGraths Hill Florist Class 2 Handicap - 1100m.

No5 NINES ENOUGH won in brilliant time on debut, she beat Memes who has won five city races since, she looks to have good ability.

No6 SASSO CORBARO resumes here after a good first prep, where she probably should have won two races. The trials have been good.

No7 IMPERIAL EAGLE found the line well first-up and should take a lot of improvement fitness wise from that.

No1 FLORID gets Angland here from barrier 1, but brings an average fresh record of 0/3. The two trials have been quite good.
