Well punters are going to get their first taste of hot in the New Year with sweltering weather forecast for Victoria and South Australian this weekend.
The mercury is expected to soar into the 40’s causing havoc with the race meeting programmed over the first weekend of 2018.
Fortunately Cranbourne is at night but it is going to be hot travelling in the floats for the horses to the course. Looks an even lot of fields on this eight-race card. The track is rated as a Good 4 and the weather is hot. The false rail will be out to three metres.
