Betting tips for every race at Pakenham. Today’s best bet is in race 7.
Adelaide’s top rider Jamie Kah riding here for Team Hayes is the highlight of tonight’s provincial night meeting at Pakenham.
With hot days forecast for Melbourne punters will be happy to sneak off to Pakenham where the mercury will peak at 32C and drops to a balmy 18C at night.
It is going to be another sweltering Australia Day long weekend for punters in Victoria with the temperatures to rise into the high 30s. Tonight’s eight race card kicks off with the usual four maidens but there appears a good bet in Spirit Of Aquada (Race 3). The feature race looks to hold a good bet too in Barchetta (Race 7). The false rail will be moved to the three-metre position and the track is rated as a Good 4.

*SCRATCHED* No6 REZEALIENT is a son of leading sire Sebring and is trained by the top stable of Team Hayes. He also gets Adelaide’s premier rider Jamie Kah to steer at his debut. He underlined he was primed for a top showing with a trial win over 1100m at Tatura on January 16.
*SCRATCHED* No10 IMMACULATE SECRET made a solid debut when running a good second over 1130m maiden at Geelong on January 11. Will wear a tongue tie tonight and the extra distance should suit on breeding.
No9 BRALCA’S GEM (BEST ROUGHIE) Damian Lane taking the reins is a big bonus and ran a sound fourth over 1209m fillies' maiden at Yarra Valley first-up on January 9. She is from a well-known staying stable and the extra ground tonight should assist.

No1 AURORA ROSE fought hard at her first Victorian start to run a sound second over 2447m at Geelong on January 11. She was not wanted in betting easing from $2.60 to $4.80, but gave a good sight to her backers.

No4 BARCHETTA (BEST BET) had the bar raised high when she finished 13th over 1200m at Caulfield on January 7. She did pull up lame from the start so would forget she went around.
