Victoria’s premier trainer Darren Weir again has a strong team of raiders at today’s Morphettville meeting. The Victorian presence is strong with Mick Price also raiding Adelaide on the eve of the Adelaide Cup (3200m) – due to be run on March 12.
Price has booked Adelaide’s leading rider Dominic Tourneur to ride The Chairman in a trial towards the Adelaide Cup in the Birthday Cup (2035m). The track is rated as a Good 4 and the False Rail will be out to nine metres from the 1200m to the winning post and at six metres for the remainder.
