Rosehill for midweek racing here, a rare midweek meeting for Rosehill as I think they only have two or three a year, and we usually see a smart horse come from this, Dawn Wall, Southern Legend, Fell Swoop and Deploy are a few to name. A lot of rain over Sunday and Monday in Sydney, track should be heavy / soft. The rail is out 8m.

Best Roughie: R7 – 1. SANCTIONED
No11 WAGNER is a horse who there is a lot of buzz about and has been trialing up well coming into the debut run, don’t know about the wet track until he sees it!
No3 CHABREET has been trialing in very nice order and gets a soft run of it on the map, brilliantly bred colt who should run well.
No4 HOME SCENE has been well educated at the trials and has looked much better this preparation.
No12 MONTE DITTO didn’t have much luck on debut and has been back to the trials since and was good there.
VALUE RUNNER: No4 HOME SCENE
No6 MISS FABULASS (NEXT BEST BET) has been trialing in brilliant style leading into the debut run. By Frankel out of Samantha Miss, she is bred to be a star and the wet track on debut shouldn’t be an issue with Frankel a winner on super heavy going and Samantha Miss winning two Group 1s on wet going.
No1 TERMINOLOGY brings Sunlight form to this, that’s pretty good for a maiden on a Wednesday.
No4 CRISTOBAL should handle the wet going and has been trialing in good style.
No13 STARRY has been going about her business well at the trials and should handle the wet going.
VALUE RUNNER: No4 CRISTOBAL
No1 ALL TOO SOON was fantastic winning against the bias last start at Kembla, wet track no issue and up in distance suits for this Oaks-bound filly.
No2 CONDOR will roll to the front here and attempt to run them into the ground.
No3 DELADIES BOY charged through the line when winning last start, the distance is no issue at all here.
No4 HUANGSHAN did a good job behind Deladies Boy last start, getting to home is much more suitable.
VALUE RUNNER: No3 DELADIES BOY
No1 KAONIC is the best horse in the race here, but was horrible fresh. Big drifter in the market and ran to that, back to 3yo level here however, and wet going is no issue.
No3 RENEWAL was a strong winner fresh, running away from them late. Wet track an unknown.
No5 DECROUX should handle the wet track off breeding and was quite strong when winning fresh.
No2 OUR MANTRA has form around Kaonic and was behind Renewal, and should improve second-up.
VALUE RUNNER: No5 DECROUX
No6 DIVINE BREEZE (BEST BET) has been brilliant in winning both starts and looks to be on an upward spiral, the wet track shouldn’t be an issue for her. She is drawn to get a soft run of it from barrier two and is hard to beat here.
No4 PLANET’S PRINCESS has been good at winning the past two, yet to see a wet track but she will handle it off the breeding page.
No11 GAYTIME GIRL has a win to her name on soft going and has been in good form this time in.
No7 STELLA VICTORIA comes out of some solid enough races as of late and should run well at home.
VALUE RUNNER: No4 PLANET’S PRINCESS
No5 MEROVEE found the line brilliantly first-up and will be suited by the step up to 1500m here, wet track no issue at all.
No1 AQUATIC has found that winning instinct winning the past two, wet tracks no issue.
No4 KAONIC also down to run here, no indication as of yet. This looks more suitable.
No6 ONSLAUGHT got the luck and won well last start, no wet track form to speak of, but he is going well.
VALUE RUNNER: No6 ONSLAUGHT
No1 SANCTIONED (BEST ROUGHIE) resumes as a gelding this time in and brings some very good form to this, and has had the one quiet trial where he didn’t have to do too much there.
No2 REACH FOR HEAVEN hasn’t had much luck this time in, and not third-up from the soft gate he gets his chance.
No4 TENORINO should be much more suited third-up to 1300m and on a wet track.
No5 THAAD should improve third-up on the home track here.
VALUE RUNNER: No1 SANCTIONED
No3 XEBEC has now had the run at 2400m and I mean it now that this is his last chance to win one.
No7 PERIBSEN gets the blinkers on here and will be suited up to the 2400m.
No12 MAZAZ got the job done in workman like style last start and has his chance again.
No5 THE GAVEL won well last start when others didn’t have luck, chance again.
VALUE RUNNER: No7 PERIBSEN
