The jumps season kicks off at Warrnambool with the first three races today over the jumping courses.
The famous “Bool” carnival is drawing closer and punters wishing to get a guide on the jumpers for the future should observe this meeting.
The weather will be overcast with the top temperature expected to only be 19C. With the rail at four metres all horses should get an even chance. The track is rated as a Soft 5 (Monday).
The three-year-old filly Inspirante looks inspirational with a smart win and a third at her two starts.
She was a brilliant winner over 1600m at Stawell at her last start and has the talented jockey Linda Meech to ride against a moderate field of only seven runners in the sixth race.
The Darren Weir-trained Snitch has been in fabulous form at this track with a win and a third at his past two starts. With top stable rider Dean Yendall again to steer and drawn gate seven he looks the other good bet on this eight-race card.
