Kembla Grange for their Championships Qualifier day, and I love how they are the last race of the day as they are great betting races. We have 8 races on the card here in what looks to be a good day, track was fair last week. Rail is Out 2m, 1100m - W Post, True the remainder and we are on soft going.

QUADDIES (races 5-6-7-8)

Skinny Play:  4,7  -  1,2  -  1,3,6  -  4,5

Wide Play:  1,4,7  -  1,2,6,7  -  1,3,6,7  -  4,5,7,11

Next Best Bet: R1 – 3. LANGOUSTINE

Best Roughie: R3 – 2. DEVIL’S LAIR

R1 – 1.14pm. HLB Mann Judd 3yo Class 1 Handicap - 1000m.

No3 LANGOUSTINE (NEXT BEST BET) has form around some very nice horses and comes out of a very fast run race last start and now comes to Sydney for the first time. Back to the 1000m looks suitable as she looks to get a sit just behind the speed and should finish over the top.

No2 BLACK CHILLI has trialled in good order coming into the fresh run here.

No4 MERAKI MISS was in a race not run to suit last week and I love the quick back up

No5 SELECTIVE has been quite good this time in, and won well enough last start

R2 – 1.49pm. Illawarra Toyota Benchmark 60 Handicap - 1000m.

No6 BEE NEATA (BEST BET) is a flying machine who will jump and run along here, her debut win was fantastic in fast time and the form has stood up quite well. At start two she choked down hence the addition of the Tongue Tie here, the trial was brilliant and she looks the winner.

No7 BARE FOOT BABE won well enough last start in good time

No1 HALLIDAY ROAD is well weighted after the claim here, and comes back to the home track.

No3 MIDNIGHT RIDE looks to be next best.

R3 – 2.29pm. CDF “Building Church Communities” Maiden Plate - 1400m.

No1 KATHMANDU finds himself on top as there is nothing else here, he gets a good run on the map and has a chance again.

No2 DEVIL’S LAIR (BEST ROUGHIE) comes out of some good form in prep one and has trialled well enough.

No7 KAFFKA has been going well enough in recent times and finds a weak race to run in.

No4 HAPPY SEVENTY should run well on the home track here.

R4 – 3.09pm. Collegians RLFC Class 1 Handicap - 1600m.

No3 FLYING should get that added length on with the blinkers on here and back to Class 1 is suited.

No2 TEMPRADO was quite good last start in a race which should hold up well, has a chance again here.

No1 CEDARWOOD should be much fitter for the fresh run and is suited up to the mile.

No4 ON FIRE BEACH won the maiden well last start, and the stable is finding form.

R5 – 3.49pm. Wollongong Mini Storage Maiden Handicap - 1200m.

No7 STRATUM CHARGE hasn’t had a trial coming into this and brings brilliant form to this with run behind Shumookh last start.

No4 GOLD CODES has trialled in good order coming into the debut and the stable is in brilliant form at the moment.

No1 CARILLON started a short priced fav on debut and was a touch disappointing and should be better for the experience.

No6 MONSIEUR MACRON gets a good run on the map here just behind the speed and has trialled well.

R6 – 4.35pm. CCI Catholiccare Cup Benchmark 68 Handicap - 1200m.

No1 VALIDATE resumes here and brings some quite good form to this and has been trialing well coming into this.

No2 DREAM I CAN has been in good enough form without winning this time in and has a good record at the track.

No7 DENIM STREET was good, in what should be a good race at Canberra and should be fitter for that.

No6 BRAD THE LAD comes out of the same race last start and gets some gear changes here, he would need to parade better though.

R7 – 5.15pm. Catholic Schools Welcome Bishop Brian Mascord Class 2 Handicap - 1400m.

No6 RIDICULE should be too good for them here and comes out of a good race last start at Canberra, 1400m holds no issue.

No3 AANVOERDER should be much fitter for the first-up run here and gets a good run on the map.

No1 OUR JOYEUX resumes here from HK and has been trialing well in the lead up.

No7 BUKZEL looks to get a good run on the map here and has won on wet going before.

R8 – 5.55pm. Polytrack Provincial Championship Qualifier - 1400m.

No5 KOOL VINNIE didn’t have the best of luck last start and I think that is a strong qualifier, and he is drawn to have the last shot at them.

No4 HAND FROM ABOVE resumes here and was a strong winner last start, he has a good record at the track and will run well.

No7 MAN OF CHOICE comes into this without a trial and has some very good form around him, good record at the home track.

No11 FUN TICKETS got one of the best rides I’ve seen in a long while when winning latest, and will need another one from gate 20 here.
