Betting tips for every race at Beaudesert. Today’s best bet is in race 4.

Tue, 24 Apr, 9:04 AM

A rare midweek meeting at Beaudesert. It is a real horses for courses track and also suits horses who can race on the pace. As it is a midweek meeting with big prize money the standard of horse is better.

QUADDIES (races 5-6-7-8)

Skinny Play:  2,6/1,7/1,5/2

Wide Play:  2,5,6,7/1,7,9,10/1,3,5,6/1,2,4,8

BEST BET: R4 – 6. It's Choux Time

Next Best Bet:  R1 – 2. Brains

Best Roughie: R3 – 12. Strada Grande

R1-12.18pm. RSL Class 2 Hcp - 1650m.

No2 Brains (NEXT BEST BET) Good winner this track last start and has a 2kgs claim here. This isn't much harder than last time and looks a top hope.

No4 Miss Miles Has been most consistent and won in Mackay before good second at the Sunshine Coast last time.

No5 Roman Doll Rarely runs a bad race but doesn't win too many. No luck last-start fourth at Ipswich.

No7 Lets Get Nauti Gal Newcastle galloper whose three runs this area have been handy with seconds past two starts. Obviously a chance.

VALUE RUNNER: No5 Roman Doll

R2 - 12.52pm. Hiberian Maiden Hcp - 1200m.

No5 The Showman Has been racing well in north Queensland without winning. New addition to a top stable so respect in a weak race.

SCRATCHED - No10 Just Tina Unplaced in all ten starts but hasn't been far away of late in this class and no luck last time when fifth at Toowoomba.

No3 Master Magic Al Is starting to wear out patience but usually about the place these races. Will win one of these one day and it might be today.

No7 Kosciuszko Express Best run to date was last start when second this track. Has to be an each-way chance again.

VALUE RUNNER: No10 Just Tina

R3 - 1.27pm. The Diggers QTIS Three Year Old Maiden - 1300m.

No9 Don't Stutter Has been costly but has better form than most of these and a 2kgs claim means he gets in very well at the weights from a handy barrier.

No12 Strada Grande (BEST ROUGHIE) Has a habit of missing the start but good Toowoomba third last start and this looks a suitable race.

No7 Ponderoso First starter who wasn't knocked around in a recent trial in Toowoomba. Very well bred and trained here.

No1 Another Dabl Doya First starter who has shown nothing in two trials. But trained this track and from a stable notorious for big priced winners. The whole family have been winners so respect at odds.

VALUE RUNNER: No12 Strada Grande

R4 - 2.02pm. Lipton Ice Benchmark 65 Hcp - 2450m.

No6 It's Choux Time (BEST BET) Ipswich winner two starts back and then even run at the Gold Coast. Stepping up sharply in distance but from a top stable and has a top jockey. This track will also suit.

No7 Wake Up Victa Has been racing well around 1600m and has been placed only start this track. Light weight hope despite stepping up in distance.

No2 High Wind Bred to win the Melbourne Cup so trip should be no problem. Doomben winner three starts back and two runs since in harder races.

No4 Schwarzy Doomben winner three runs back at 2200m. Two runs since okay and races like about three miles would be his go so no problems at 2400m.

R5 - 2.37pm. Paradigm Homes C,E, G Benchmark 65 Hcp - 1200m.

No5 Natch Former Victorian who was third behind a very promising horse at the Sunshine Coast last time. Looks the one to beat here.

No2 Suilven Has not run a bad race this campaign and was second at Ipswich in a harder event last time. Always a hope despite big weight here.

No6 Sure Deal Gatton winner two runs back and then a good third at Ipswich last time. Each-way again.

No7 Our Rocky Strong winner this track last start and remains down in the weights. Never out of the place in six goes this track, but the barrier is the only worry.

R6 - 3.17pm. Beaudesert Cup C,G,E Benchmark 65 Hcp - 1200m.

No1 Mehmeto Very good second at Ipswich last start and is well drawn here. Looks one of the main chances.

No7 Si Si Sequalo Tough gelding who led all of the way to win at Gatton last time. The key to him is leading by himself.

No9 Excelebrazione Has a few tricks but is smart on his day. Hard to say which version of him will turn up but at his best would win this.

No10 Damn Fine Handy form last campaign and had an easy trial before failure first-up at Ipswich. Can improve sharply here.

VALUE RUNNER: No10 Damn Fine

R7 - 3.52pm. Beaudesert Race Club Fillies and Mares Benchmark 65 Hcp - 1200m.

No3 Showus Ya Diamonds Very promising and won first two starts in great fashion before fifth last time in a far harder race when had no luck. Has had two trials for this.

SCRATCHED - No5 Tapa Showing promise and chance here on last start tough Rockhampton win when overcame a few obstacles to score.

SCRATCHED - No1 Now You See Good second behind a horse which has won again in Saturday class since at Doomben and then little luck when fifth in a far harder race at Toowoomba last time.

No6 Allena Racing well and has a win and a second from two starts this track. Always an each-way hope.

R8 - 4.27pm. Barrier Reef Pools Benchmark 75 Hcp - 1400m.

No2 Iron George Good second first-up in Toowoomba and has won twice second-up. This type of race suits nicely.

No4 Cascata Rossa Back to win with strong Ipswich win last start. Not sure this track will suit but should be finishing strongly and can win with any luck.

No8 Hi Harry Has had a stable change and has had two trials for come back to racing here. This is probably too short but has won first-up and not without ability.

No1 Yaba Dabl Dooya Has missed the place only once in seven goes this track and that was last start when struck trouble. One of the main hopes.

VALUE RUNNER: No1 Yabba Dabl Dooya
