No4 Tunes was well fancied before finishing a good sixth over 3600m on the flat at Oakbank on April 2. Has had a solid staying campaign over the autumn to be pluck for this and bears respect over the jumps.
No7 Exalted Kanga comes into this hurdle race with a maiden win over 2200m at Murray Bridge on April 18. Lost his rider and Oakbank and then won solidly again at Murray Bridge on April 18.
SCRATCHED - No1 Cable Bay ran an even race to finish in the Classic Hurdle (3600m) at Oakbank on March 31 last start. Down in class today and worth giving another chance.
No5 Zimbali must have claims in this moderate hurdle race. The French bred-stayer warmed up for this with a seventh over 2030m at Morphettville on April 14. Give a chance here.

R2 – 12.41pm. ADF Humanitarian Operations / SABOIS Maiden Plate – 1100m.
No12 Skid Lid makes good appeal on being placed at all of her three starts. Latest she ran a good third over 1212m maiden at Strahalbyn on January 17. Was ungenerous that day and expect improvement following a good spell.
No1 Real Easy is a four-year-old who showed ability at debut to run a strong second over 1050m maiden at Balaklava on April 11. The winner was too smart but he never surrendered.
No3 Good Idea underlined he was ripe for a first-up showdown with a strong win over 1000m hit out at Morphettville on April 5, Dylan Caboche’s 1.5kg claim drops his weight to 55.5kg.
No6 Sant Angelo did not have the greatest start to his career when had to search for a passage through before finishing fourth over 1050m maiden at Balaklava on April 11. Will be improved.

R3 – 1.16pm. Holdfast Insurance / Coral Balmoral 50th / SABOIS Maiden Plate – 1500m.
SCRATCHED - No6 Feringo will have taken benefit from his first-up start when finishing third over 1200m maiden at Morphettville on April 7. He has finished inside the money at two of his four starts and stable jockey Dom Tourneur rides.
No3 Krupt Leda has been placed at four of his past five starts. Latest he ran a solid second over 1600m maiden at Murray Bridge on April 18. Top jockey Jamie Kah riding is a bonus.
No9 McAuliffe has been placed at two of his five starts and has been placed third at this track. Last start ran a solid fifth over 2122m in a maiden at Gawler on April 4. Respect.
No4 Trooper’s Ploy finished right on the heels of the leading division when finishing fourth over 1515m maiden here on April 4. Jason Holder taking over the reins is a big plus.

No1 Balwarra Gold gets a big drop in class on last start 10th over 1200m at Morphettville on April 14. He had won 1115m and 1200m at Gawler and Murray Bridge at his prior two starts in most good style.
No2 Good Luck Chuck was a courageous winner over 1050m at Oakbank two starts ago on March 18. Then last start ran a tradesman third over the same trip on March 31. Will race on the pace and respect.
No9 Needy Rocket was bursting home to finish a powerful fourth over 1200m at Morphettville on April 7. That was his second start back off a four-week break and carries 55.5kg with the 2kg claim.
No10 Equidame showed heaps of promise first up from a 23-week spell when finishing second to Balwarra Gold over 1115m here on April 4. If repeats she is a chance again today from seven.
VALUE RUNNER: No8 Silent Ice
R5 – 2.30pm. ANZAC Appeal BM 60 Hcp – 1100m.
No7 Quiddick has won and finished second twice at three starts. Comes to this race with an emphatic 4.4 length win over 1050m maiden at Balaklava on April 11. That was first-up and boasts a good second-up record too.
No5 Pale Ale was outclassed when running 11th over 1050m at Morphettville on April 14. Drops dramatically in class today from a benchmark 82 to 64. Well drawn in gate four.
No2 Outinthestreet has won at two of his four starts at this track. Last start he fought hard to run second over 1200m at Strahalbyn on March 28. Will be fresh for the 1100m dash today.
No6 Youbetcha gets seasoned jockey Clare Lindop to ride and has won once at two starts this track. Last start ran home well to finish fifth over 1600m at Strahalbyn last October. Goes well fresh.

R6 – 3.06pm. Operation K9 Benchmark 60 Handicap – 1500m.
No12 Vikings Reward is beautifully drawn in gate two and gets the experienced apprentice Raquel Clark to ride. He ran a fair seventh over 1400m at Oakbank on April 2 and he has the blinkers coming off here.
No1 Phelps Glory was steady in the betting at $6 before winning in style over 1400m at Oakbank on March 31. Gets G Lo to ride today and his 4kg claim drops his weight to 59kg.
No8 Big Call had a three-week break between a win at Strathalbyn and a sixth over 1400m at Murray Bridge last start on April 18. She is on a short back up but she gets top jockey Clare Lindop to pilot here.
No5 Two Odd Sox must give thought with Group 1 winning rider Joe Bowditch to ride. He is on the quick back up following his sixth over 1400m at Murray Bridge last Wednesday.

R7 – 3.41pm. RSL South Australia / Goldin Farms BM 64 Hcp – 1700m.
No9 Lynch Mob has the blinkers going back on after his strong third over 1800m at Morphettville on April 7. That was the four-year-old’s second start back from a spell and is primed now.
No10 Star Patriot was gathering in the winner when finishing second over 1515m here on April 4. That was the four-year-old mare’s debut at this track. Todd Pannell rides again.
No11 Think Out Loud has an outstanding record at this track of two starts for a win and a second. Was badly hampered when ninth over 1800m at Morphettville on April 7.
No6 Traffic Maestro (BEST ROUGHIE) absolutely loves this track with a record of four starts for two wins and a second. May pay to forgive 11th in Country Cup (1900m) at Oakbank on March 31. Down in class.

No12 Casino Club (BEST BET) has the top combination of trainer Tony McEvoy and jockey Jamie Kah to kick off her campaign here following a nine-week spell. The four-year-old mare was nailed in a tight finish last start at Strathalbyn and can rebound fresh today.
No5 Autmed has notched successive wins and a second at Clare and Morphettville at past three starts.
No4 Connermara Rose finished right on the hammer of the winner last start. Expect a strong finish.
No9 Chapal is a last-start winner at this track and discount last run at Morphettville. Winkers go on.

SCRATCHED - No13 Surf ‘N’ Turf (NEXT BEST BET) came in for strong support at debut when pulled away to post an imposing 3.7 length win in an 1100m maiden at Clare on March 31. Gets good rider Joe Toereok to ride today and drops a kilo on his debut win to 56kg.
No12 Miss Siska will be having first start for new trainer Tony McEvoy. She showed plenty of ability fresh for Tony Noonan when running second and winning at her second start last campaign.
No15 Staghorn was a clever winner at Port Lincoln before running a good fifth at Morphettville.
No5 Just Resting showed great form fresh to win at Morphettville at the odds of $19 last start.
