Tuesday Racing Tips - 29th May
Kembla Grange’s card has attracted two bets for today while Geelong has tossed up a nice little gem as well.
We have gone for a two-State strategy today with the first of our selections being an ultra-impressive winner on debut. We are thinking that the winning feeling will continue for her at Kembla Grange while Geelong is the venue for our other selection.
Kembla Grange is a Good 4 with the rail out 3m the entire course.
Geelong is racing on the Synthetic course and the rail is in the true position.
Race 2 (Kembla Grange) – 1:20pm Duck Creek Dash Class 1 Handicap 1000m
CHIANG MAI EXPRESS (BEST BET) looked super on debut and can make it successful victories to kick start her racing career here today. Took the lead and gave nothing else a chance to run her down in a very impressive 1.4 length victory at Queanbeyan a fortnight ago. Has drawn perfectly and looks ready to make the next step. Looks a serious chance and extremely hard to beat.
Race 5 (Geelong) – 3:00pm Jack Rabbit Vineyard Class 1 Handicap 1200m
WALHALLA is an ultra-consistent gelding that’s racing well of late and looks well placed to make it back-to-back victories. Settled in a wide position before coming home strong when getting the victory by a neck at Echuca a fortnight ago. Has a good record over the distance and goes well on a good or soft track. Looks a key player and look out for him coming home strong. Leading contender.
Race 7 (Kembla Grange) – 4:20pm Oyster Bay Probus Club Benchmark 68 Handicap 1500m
Lightly raced gelding PHOENIX CHARM will be looking to atone for his last start narrow defeat in the final event of the program here today. Settled in a midfield position before coming home strong to just fail to reel in the winner beaten an inch. Go on his victory two starts back when finishing strongly once again but this time winning by a length with plenty left in the tank. Will be giving away a start but watch for him storming home late. Big danger.
