Friday Racing Tips - 29th June
Our best bet of the day definitely isn’t headed for the scrap heap.
We have identified three good things today at Tamworth and Moruya. Two of those horses, which are our first two tips, are aiming for a hat-trick while the good thing of the day is dropping a mile in class in the sixth at Tamworth.
Tamworth is a Good 4 with the rail out 2m 1000m-275m. Cutaway 275m.
Moruya is a Soft 6 with the rail in the true position.
Race 3 (Moruya) – 1:05pm Red Rose Café Class 2 Handicap 1300m
Lightly raced mare BELLA AMANTE won her past two starts and looks perfectly placed to rack up the hat-trick here today. Drawn to get the run of the race and looks the one they all need to beat. Sticking with her and expecting a big show from this mare. Serious player.
Race 3 (Tamworth) – 1:25pm JT Fossey Benchmark 65 Handicap 2100m
Racing in good form winning, HUSONIQUE has won its past two and drawn to make it three on the trot here today. Settled near the rear before storming home to win by a narrow margin at Armidale three weeks back. Has the form and looks the one they all need to beat. Key player.
Race 6 (Tamworth) – 3:15pm Advanced Inland Security Class 3 Showcase Handicap 1400m
ALL FROM SCRAP (BEST BET) has been racing in stronger races of late and looks perfectly placed back in this grade here today. Beaten by 3 lengths at Rosehill last start behind Manolo Blahniq and has good support that day. Has to carry 62kgs but is the class runner. Ticks all the boxes and is the pick of the program.
