Mon, 23 Jul, 12:00 AM

Great day of racing at Wyong with our selections looking to go one better here today and we have also found a few serious chances at Pakenham with a track specialist one of the main dangers in the final event.

Pakenham is racing on Synthetic with the rail True entire.

Wyong is racing on a Soft 5 with the rail True.

Wyong Race 2 - 1:00PM Clipsal by Schneider Benchmark 69 Handicap (1100M)

Lightly raced KATGULLY RED looked impressive when chasing hard to prevail on the line, beating Zabeel’s Choice at Kembla Grange last start and looks a serious chance in this small field here today. Will strip fitter second-up and looks the one they all need to beat. Big show expected.

1st: No4 KATGULLY RED; 2nd:  No1 Art’s Got a Gun; 3rd: No6 Penalty; 4th: No2 Mr Grumpy

Wyong Race 4 - 2:10PM Omni - Repelec Class 1 Handicap (1350M)

The ultra-consistent and lightly raced OAKFIELD MISSILE was narrowly beaten by Tim’s Principle at Newcastle last start and can atone for that narrow defeat here today. Go on her dominant 4 length romping a month back also at Newcastle, when she gave her rivals a galloping lesson. Serious player.

1st: No1 OAKFIELD MISSILE; 2nd:  No1 Clifton Country; 3rd: No6 Our Lady Violet; 4th: No3 Orokonui

Wyong Race 8 - 4:40PM Electra - Sharkrack Benchmark 67 Handicap (1600M)

The Kris Lees’ trained MOONDANCER looks well placed and should prove hard to beat in the final event of the program here today. Finished 2.8 lengths behind Seahampton at Randwick last start and the drop back in class makes him one of the main chances. Well placed, stick with him.

1st: No1 MOONDANCER; 2nd:  No5 Flagpoles; 3rd: No7 Muse; 4th: No6 Shadow Vision

Looks a perfect race for SHOCK SHOCK to finally breakthrough after finishing in the placings on this track last start beaten by a neck in a blanket finish when storming home from well back. Has drawn to get the run of the race and will be the one storming home late. Big danger

1st: No9 SHOCK SHOCK; 2nd:  No5 Keep to the River; 3rd: No10 Spun Dice; 4th: No2 Bon Bon
