Monday Racing Tips - 30th July
There’s some great racing across the country to start the week and we have found a couple of inform gallopers that look well placed at Bathurst and Donald today.
The final race at Bathurst is where today’s top selection comes from, as he looks to atone for his last start narrow defeat. We have a couple gallopers at Donald that look well-placed and will prove hard to beat with the big-name trainers having a stranglehold on most of the races there today.
Donald is racing on a Soft 6 with the rail Out 2m Entire Circuit.
Bathurst is a Good 4 with the rail True.

Sticking with the Ciaron Maher trained DEELBRAKA to breakthrough in today’s maiden over the 1620m. Looked good on debut when beaten by 3 lengths by Cochada at Sale and will strip fitter second-up here today. Looks well-placed, will be ready to strike and we think he’s the one to beat.
1st: No10 DEELBRAKA; 2nd: No11 Legion Fighter; 3rd: No5 Galaxy Glen; 4th: No1 Betley
Bathurst Race 4 - 3:05pm Oak Tree Retirement Village Class 1 Handicap(Scaled -0.5kg) (1400 Metres)
Lightly-raced gelding ZABEEL’S CHOICE (NEXT BEST BET) looks well-placed to atone for his narrow defeat to Katgully Red on this track here today. Led and looked the winner, only to be run down in the shadows of the post to a fitter galloper. Drawn to do no work and has the service of leading country jockey Greg Ryan on board. Happy to give her another go.

Donald Race 8 - 3:30pm ClassicBet in the App Store BM58 Handicap (1350 Metres)
Lightly-raced filly BELLE XAAR is resuming from a three-week let up after finishing just behind the placegetters at Sandown last start. Will appreciate this class drop and looks hard to beat having drawn well not to do much work in the run. Has a good turn of foot and will be the one flashing at them late. Big show expected.
1st: No11 BELLE XAAR; 2nd: No12 Leila’s Star; 3rd: No9 Kloss; 4th: No5 Dash of Pash
Donald Race 10 - 4:30pm Gilchrist & Co BM64 Handicap (1200 Metres)

Raced in some handy races last preparation finishing behind the likes of Sheriff John Stone and talented Crystal Spirit. Having its first start for a new trainer and is sure to be very competitive here today. The one to beat.

This looks like a race that DIA VERNON (BEST BET) will be very competitive in and we expect a huge effort from him in the final event of the program here today. Raced greenly down the straight when beaten by half a length by Pajados at Grafton last start. Won well two starts back defeating Fleeting Princess by 1.6 lengths at Grafton as well.
