Moe and Wagga are the meetings that we have identified a few serious chances that look well placed and will prove hard to beat. Our top pick was a last start winner and shapes as a major player once again, hard to go past.

Wagga is racing on a Good 4 with the rail True.

Moe is racing on a Soft 6 with the rail True.

Wagga Race 2 - 1:35PM Rock At The Races 4yo & Up Showcase Maiden Plate (1200 Metres)

EVENT has placed at seven of her 10 starts to date and does look to have found the right race to get the maiden victory she deserves here today. Beaten by less than a length behind Georgian Court at Albury last start and can atone for that narrow defeat today. Likes the distance and shapes as a major player, Stick with her.

1st: No11 EVENT 2nd: No7 Tobermory; 3rd: No12 Notre Temps; 4th: No6 Shinseki

Wagga Race 4 - 2:45PM Ferndale Distributors Class 1 & Maiden Showcase Plate (1600 Metres)

BELLA DELUXE is a consistent mare and will be fit and ready to fire here today. Settled near the rear before making good ground but found the winner Footmark too dominant when beaten by 6 lengths at Albury last start. Drawn well and will be the one flashing at them late. Key player.

1st: No10 BELLA DELUX 2nd:  No7 King Of Sting; 3rd: No5 Father Brown; 4th: No2 Dashtorush

Wagga Race 6 - 4:05PM Wagga RSL Club & Commercial Club Class 3 Showcase Handicap (1200 Metres)

Sticking with the top weight LORD DENMAN (NEXT BEST BET) that’s drawn well and shapes to be very competitive here today. Finished 1.4 lengths behind Bel’s Boy at Canberra last start when storming home late to get into the placings. Will look to settle just off the speed and look for him to pounce in the straight with his good turn of foot. Big danger.

1st: No1 LORD DENMAN 2nd:  No2 Lost Command; 3rd: No4 So It Is 4th: No8 Frenze Hall

Moe Race 8 - 4:30PM TRFM Nothing but hits BM70 Handicap (1600 Metres)

Looks a perfect race for IS DON IS GOOD (BEST BET) to make it successive victories here today after looking dominant last start. Led and proved too good when defeating Pageantry by 3 lengths at Cranbourne a fortnight ago and has the speed to lead and be hard to run down again. Will be in this for a long way. Serious chance.

1st: No7 IS DON IS GOOD 2nd: No2 Noumea; 3rd: No3 Hazard Ahead; 4th: No12 White Devon

Moe Race 9 - 5:00PM Nextra Moe BM64 Handicap (1200 Metres)

Despite drawing wide, STRYKER QUEEN looks well placed to take out the final event of the program at Moe today. Lightly raced filly, she looked impressive when winning by 3.7 Lengths at Sale last start defeating Secret Smuggler and can go on with it now. Had had a month freshen up and going on her soft win last start, she looks hard to beat.

1st: No14 STRYKER QUEEN 2nd: No12 Nina Rules; 3rd: No5 Snows Bro; 4th: No1 Count The Interest
