Midweek racing returns to Randwick (Kensington) in what shapes as a great program here today. Our top pick is racing in great form of late and will be looking to rack up his third win on the trot.

Randwick Kensington is racing on a Good with the rail True.

QUADDIE:

R5: 1,3,4,6

R6: 2,6,9,10

R7: 4,5

R8: 3,6,7

Randwick Race 1 - 12:50PM ATC Hong Kong Tour Plate (1150 metres)

VOILA is resuming from a break but looks primed for a big first-up effort in the opening event of the program at Randwick today. Narrowly beaten behind I Like It Easy at Warwick Farm on debut back in May and will appreciate this small field. Looks well placed.

1st: No7 VOILA 2nd: No2 Charm Offensive; 3rd: No6 Million; 4th: No1 Altair

Randwick Race 2 - 1:25PM TAB.COM.AU Handicap (1400 metres)

MATOWI was narrowly beaten at Warwick Farm last start and sure to be competitive here today. Chased hard but found Tarka too good when beaten by a neck a fortnight ago. Will strip fitter third-up and expected to be one of the main hopes in an open event. Can atone for his last start defeat!

1st: No5 MATOWI 2nd: *SCRATCHED* No2 Orcein; 3rd: No3 Adana; 4th: No6 Vega One

Randwick Race 3 - 2:00PM #theraces Handicap (1150 metres)

Chris Waller-trained filly MS RODARTE won on debut back in February before going to the paddock for a break and has had the benefit of two trials leading into her return here today. Just hung on when defeating the highly promising Press Box over the 1200m on debut and drawn to get the run of the race, just behind the speed. Her two trials were quiet behind crack three-year-old Performer and More Sundays. Key player.

1st: No1 MS RODARTE 2nd: No2 Laburnum; 3rd: No4 I’m So Sweet; 4th: No6 Bandol

Randwick Race 4 - 2:35PM Everest Carnival Handicap (2400 metres)

CORMAC won well at Warwick Farm last start and can make it successive victories here today. Sat just off the speed but came home hard in the straight to defeat Night Breaker by 1.4 lengths at Warwick Farm. Has drawn to lead or take a sit behind the speed and will be the one coming home hard in the straight. Hard to go past.

1st: No1 CORMAC 2nd: No3 More Moet; 3rd: No2 Go Benny; 4th: No5 Charlie Royale

Randwick Race 5 - 3:10PM Hyland Race Colours Handicap (1000 metres)

PENDELOQUE (NEXT BEST BET) will lead and take plenty of catching over a distance she excels over today. Finished sixth, five lengths behind Soothing at Randwick last start but back in this grade she will be very competitive. Drawn to be up near the speed and she does look hard to beat. Big show expected.

1st: No4 PENDELOQUE 2nd: No1 Puppet Master; 3rd: No6 Tim’s Principal; 4th: No3 Almanzora

Race 6 - 3:45PM The Agency Real Estate Handicap (1300 metres)

Peter Snowden-trained LADY I AM has drawn to get the run of the race and looks well placed here. Never saw daylight and looked to have something to give when beaten by Zonk at Canterbury a fortnight back. Just needs luck to be a key player. Sticking with her.

1st: No10 LADY I AM 2nd: No6 Antelope; 3rd: No9 Aeecee Tong De; 4th: No2 Savvan

Race 7 - 4:20PM TAB Rewards Handicap (1550 metres)

Hard to go past IMPULSIVE who won well when resuming from a spell and can make it back-to-back victories here today. Chased hard and proved too good when defeating Greysful Glamour and Gracefilly at Newcastle when conceding weight to both those horses. Will strip fitter second-up and can take the next step up in grade today. Winning hope.

1st: No6 IMPULSIVE 2nd:  No5 Amanito; 3rd: No4 Mo the Great; 4th: No10 Speed Hero

Randwick Race 8 - 4:55PM Australian Turf Club Handicap (1300 metres)

Lightly raced *SCRATCHED* STAR OF THE SEAS (BEST BET) looks perfectly placed to take out the final event. Looked impressive when storming to a 2.8 length victory at Warwick Farm back in July before backing it up with a tough victory at Canterbury last start over the handy Savvan. Racing in good form and will be looking to rack up the hat-trick. The one to beat.

1st: *SCRATCHED* No8 STAR OF THE SEAS 2nd: No3 Tip Top; 3rd: No7 Impasse; 4th: No6 Absolute
