Gundagai and Sale are the meetings we have focused on today as we look to close out the weekend with a few winners. Our tip of the day is ready to explode and break through for his much deserved maiden victory here today.

Sale is racing on a Soft 5 with the rail True.

Gundagai is a racing on Soft 6 with the rail True.

Sale Race 2 - 12:25PM Carlton Draught Maiden Plate (1000 metres)

MASTER ROCK started the short-priced favourite last start and disappointed when beaten by just over a length behind Robe de Fete at Sandown on debut. Will be looking to bounce back and looks to have found a very winnable event second up. Sure to strip fitter and has drawn to be very competitive. Williams on board is a plus, the one to beat!

1st: No10 MASTER ROCK 2nd: *SCRATCHED* No11 Secret Vega; 3rd: No3 Moonlight’s Reward; 4th: No6 Boo Dup

Gundagai Race 4 - 2:40PM Gary Readford Memorial Maiden Handicap (1180 metres)

EUROSAY (BEST BET) has finished in the placings at his past two starts and looks to have found the right race to break through for his maiden victory here today. Run peaked at the 100 metres when beaten by Jaytees The Fox at Wagga last start. Will look to settle just off the tempo and have the last crack at them in the straight. Winning chance. Top pick.

1st: No4 EUROSAY 2nd: No6 Who’s Shout; 3rd: No5 Manhattan Rush; 4th: No1 Medeus

Gundagai Race 5 - 3:20PM C E Readford Memorial Class 1 Handicap (1180 metres)

The Matthew Dale-trained SECRET COPY (NEXT BEST BET) is resuming from a 21-week layoff but does have ability and will be ready to fire first-up here today. Has a good record over the distance and did win by 7 lengths at Wagga back in April. Drawn a tad wide but looks the one to beat. Hard to go past.

1st: No1 SECRET COPY 2nd: *SCRATCHED* No2 Zariz No Other; 3rd: No5 Brother Adam; 4th: No9 Liberty Boy

Sale Race 9 - 4:55PM Sale Water Specialists BM64 Handicap (1200 metres)

Lightly raced gelding PARSIFAL is resuming from a break but going on her victories last preparation he looks well placed to take out the final event of the program at Sale today. Won back to back races at Bendigo in February and March and does possess plenty of early toe. Drawn a tad wide but sure to be a leading contender, Rates well.

1st: No1 PARSIFAL 2nd: No2 Big Phil; 3rd: No3 Raiza Flame; 4th: No6 I Am Vinnie

Gundagai Race 8 - 5:15PM XXXX Gold Benchmark 66 Handicap (1400 metres)

Liked the way BID OF FAITH chased hard in the straight when beaten by a length behind Dylan’s Deeva last start and looks to have a serious chance in the final event going on that effort. Has drawn to get the run of the race and has a great record over the distance. Ready to atone her last start defeat. Stick with her.

1st: No4 BID OF FAITH 2nd: *SCRATCHED* No2 Heysen; 3rd: No7 My Maher; 4th No6 Bondo
