Tuesday Racing Tips - 25th September

Grafton and Mildura are our venues today and our best bet is looking to keep the winning groove going after breaking through last time out.

We have found a few winning hopes that will be looking to return into the winner’s circle and sure to be competitive here today. Our top selection is a last start winner and has a serious turn of foot, will be storming home in the straight.

Grafton is racing on Soft 5 with the rail +4.5m 1200 to WP, +3M WP to 1200m

Mildura is racing on a Good 4 with the rail True.

Grafton Race 1 - 1:10PM Winning Edge Presentations Class 3 Handicap - Heat Of The Rising Star (1620 Metres)

Looks a perfect race for TRISTAN DE ANGEL to bounce back after finishing ninth at Randwick three weeks back in a TAB Highway. Has drawn to get the run of the race from gate one but has a tendency to get back in his races. Will strip fitter second-up and looks well placed to take out the opening event at Grafton today. Key player.

1st: *SCRATCHED* No2 TRISTAN DE ANGEL 2nd:  No1 Pleased; 3rd: *SCRATCHED* No3 Shadow Prince 4th: No6 Indian Rocks

Grafton Race 3 - 2:20PM RADIO 2GF CG&E MAIDEN PLATE (1015 METRES)

Sticking with the 17-start maiden HASHTAG HERO to finally break through here today. Go on his half length defeat behind True Pride two starts back. Has placed four times on the track and three times over the distance. Overall has run nine placings from 17 starts. Today is the day!

1st: No2 HASHTAG HERO 2nd:  No3 Hidden Storm; 3rd: No5 Longtga; 4th: No7 Man With a Plan

Grafton Race 6 - 4:10PM Family Christmas Race Day 2 December Benchmark 58 Handicap (2375 Metres)

HIS KYLLACHY (NEXT BEST BET) just missed when finishing behind eventual winner Golden Words on this track last start and looks well placed to atone for that narrow defeat here today. Has been racing in consistent form without winning but is due for a change of luck and with the favourable barrier draw he will be hard to beat here today. Serious player.

1st: No2 HIS KYLLACHY 2nd:  No5 Ask The Price; 3rd: No7 Miss Zodiac 4th: No3 Dubai Gee Eye

Mildura Race 8 - 5:00PM Melbourne Cup Day at Mildura BM58 Handicap (1400 Metres)

Sticking with last start winner MISSCINO (BEST BET) to make it successive victories after she broke her maiden at Casterton a fortnight back. Looked impressive when charging away to a commanding 3.2 length victory last start, scoring her first win after finishing second a whopping eight times in 12 previous attempts. Despite the wide draw we expect this mare to be the one storming home in the straight. Excels over the distance and will be hard to beat. Big danger!

1st: *SCRATCHED* No5 MISSCINO 2nd:  No3 Welcome Stryker; 3rd: No1 Free Willy 4th: No2 Captain Smooth

Grafton Race 8 - 5:20PM XXXX Gold Class 1 Handicap (1420 Metres)

Happy to stick with last start winner CARO CAVALLO that’s drawn to get the run of the race and looks hard to go past in the final event of the program. Will look to settle just behind the speed and will be the one flashing at them late. Can win again.

1st: No4 CARO CAVALLO 2nd:  No1 Tesarc; 3rd: No5 Tipsy Choice 4th: No7 Karlu Dreaming
