Tue, 25 Sep, 6:00 AM

We have found a few standout selections at Gawler that look serious chances in their respective events today.

Gawler is racing on a Good 4 with the rail True.

Gawler Race 1 - 12:45PM Ausbia Electrical / SABOIS Plus Maiden/Class One Plate (2100 Metres)

DOUBLESPEAK was disappointing last start but looks to have found the right race to bounce back. Go on his length victory two starts back when defeating Poetic Diva at Balaklava. Drawn to get the run of the race. Big danger.

1st: No1 DOUBLESPEAK 2nd: No2 Johnny Johnny; 3rd: No4 Nuclear Bang; 4th: No6 Spudsta

Gawler Race 5 - 3:05PM Holdfast Insurance / SABOIS Maiden Plate (1100 Metres)

Sticking with THANASI who nearly caused the boilover when finishing second beaten by a lip at Strathalbyn on debut. Don’t expect to see the same odds as he was on debut, but he will strip fitter for that run and is one of the key hopes. Vey unlucky last start and can win today.

1st: No5 THANASI 2nd:  No1 Blazing Row; 3rd: No12 Magna Belle; 4th: No10 Tomahawk

Gawler Race 8 - 4:50PM Schild Estate Wines Benchmark 56 Handicap (1100 Metres)

PRICKLES can bounce back in the last race of the day after disappointing at Balaklava last start. Go on his placing when finishing two lengths behind Galcrum on this track two starts ago back in August. Does get back in her races but the drop in class may play to her favour this time around. Hard to beat.

1st: No11 PRICKLES 2nd: No6 Get In The Bowl; 3rd: No3 Triple Deez; 4th: No4 Skid Lid
