Wednesday Gold Coast Tips - 3rd October
We have turned our attention to the Gold Coast card where there are a few nice horses that will hopefully line our pockets.
We have found a few standout selections on the Gold Coast today that look key players in their respective events.
Gold Coast is racing on a Soft 6 with the rail 3.5 metres entire circuit.
Gold Coast Race 1 - 1:08PM Book Now For Melbourne Cup Maiden Handicap (2200 Metres)
ONSET looks hard to go past in the opening event of the program on the Gold Coast today. Finished in the placings when beaten by 1.7 lengths behind Mary’s Girl at Grafton a fortnight back. Will look to settle on the speed and will be hard to run down in the straight. Small field suits. Danger.
1st: No6 ONSET 2nd: No1 Rockuzzo; 3rd: No3 Misfits; 4th: No5 Mary Read
Gold Coast Race 4 - 2:53PM Finney Isles Class 5 Handicap (1200 Metres)
Sticking with the ultra-consistent gelding FREDDIE FOX TROT to make it consecutive victories after winning well at Doomben last start. Despite being wide for most of the trip he still ran away to a convincing victory and being second-up will take a power of beating today. Drawn well and looks the likely winner. Big show expected.
1st: No1 FREDDIE FOX TROT 2nd: No5 Hidden Gold; 3rd: *SCRATCHED* No7 Soft Top; 4th: No2 Lyricist
Gold Coast Race 7 - 4:38PM KIYOMI Class 3 Handicap (1100 Metres)
Sticking with the lightly raced KNOCK TOFF to make it successive victories here today. Took over at the 300m mark and held on to defeat Show Me The Honey by a length at Goulburn last start and has drawn to be very competitive once again. Having his first start for his new trainer but looks well placed and will prove hard to beat here over a distance he excels over. Hard to go past.
1st: No4 KNOCK TOFF 2nd: No1 Pedway; 3rd: No2 Aggravate; 4th: No6 Dream Master
