Outstanding program around the tight Moonee Valley track tonight with a few chances perfectly placed to taste victory again. Our top selection looked impressive when winning on debut and can take the next step up in grade here tonight. Will go close.
Moonee Valley is racing on a Good 4 with the Rail out 7m Entire.
OUR SEA GODDESS has been racing in fine form since resuming from a spell and will be looking to make it successive victories here today. Led and just held on when defeating Boltoftheblue by a narrow margin at Geelong a fortnight back and can win again after showing great tenacity to fight back. Has placed on the track and looks a serious chance to salute once again. Key player.

KAPLUMPICH is a lightly raced colt out of the astute Darren Weir stable that looks to have found a very suitable race here tonight. Finished four lengths behind Ranier at Caulfield a fortnight back and returns to a track that he tasted success at two starts back when winning by just over a length when racing on the speed. Has drawn well and looks like the one they all need to beat. Hard to go past. serious chance.
1st: No2 KAPLUMPICH 2nd: No3 Mumbles; 3rd: No5 Shark In the Water; 4th: No7 River Star
FRIAR FOX (NEXT BEST BET) made steady ground when finishing 2.5 lengths behind I Am a Star at Caulfield last start and can bounce back in tonight’s winnable event. Has drawn a tad wide so expect her to settle in the second half of the field and be saved for one big crack at them in the straight. Trainer and jockey have a great strike rate when combining and expecting another big performance from her tonight. The one to beat.
1st: No6 FRIAR FOX 2nd: No7 Snipfit; 3rd: No2 Chestnut Charlie; 4th: No3 He Ekscels
SIR KALAHAD led all-the-way proving too smart for his rivals at Cranbourne last time out. Has drawn in two and could take up the running again and if he does, he is definitely the one to beat. Ticks all the boxes and is top pick.
1st: No5 SIR KALAHAD 2nd: *SCRATCHED* No7 Critical Rhythm; 3rd: No3 Jackpot Johnny; 4th: *SCRATCHED* No8 Doves Cry
D’AGUILAR (BEST BET) looked impressive when winning his maiden by 1.2 lengths at Donald three weeks back and looks ready to make it back-to-back victories in the final event. Was heavily backed ($6-$4.60) first-up and settled sixth in the running before proving too strong over the concluding stages on the Heavy 10 surface. Does step up in class for this but has to be followed going on the impressive nature of his maiden win. The one to beat.
1st: No9 D’AGUILAR 2nd: No13 So You Dream; 3rd: *SCRATCHED* No3 Silent Command; 4th: No7 With A Bit of Dash
