Rosehill Racing Previews & Tips - Saturday 10th November
Looks like a great meeting at Rosehill today with a few handy gallopers going around that look well placed.
Looks a nice little program at Rosehill and our expert thinks he has found a few little nuggets of gold heading into the card. Our best bet will be short but she is racing in brilliant fashion and if you are ever going to have a genuine crack at a shorty, this is it!
Rosehill is racing on a Soft 6 with the rail +3m Entire.
Rosehill Race 1 - 12:00PM Girls Day Out Handicap (1200 Metres)
SEBRAKATE has won both his starts to date and looks well placed to make it three on the trot in today’s opening event at Rosehill. Having his first start in Sydney travelling from Adelaide for this event so the team must be full of confident. Drawn perfectly and is the one to beat.
1st: No1 SEBRAKATE; 2nd: No2 Chia; 3rd: No3 Exhilarates; 4th: No5 Oh So Hot
Rosehill Race 2 - 12:35PM 2019 Membership Handicap (1400 Metres)
ROYAL CELEBRATION has had six starts to date, winning twice and placing four times. Looked impressive when storming to a comprehensive 1.4 length victory at Randwick a fortnight back and will be out to replicate that performance here today. Has the form and a big show expected.
1st: No1 ROYAL CELEBRATION 2nd: No4 Singing Sand; 3rd: No7 Baller; 4th: No3 Coterie
Rosehill Race 3 - 1:10PM TAB Highway Handicap (1400 Metres)
TRISTAN DE ANGEL is a last start winner and will be out to make it successive victories here today. Chased hard to defeat Lawan by a length at Randwick a month back and has had a month since then to freshen up for this. Won the Highway last time out on a Heavy and gets a Soft surface here, which he has won on previously.
1st: No5 TRISTAN DE ANGEL; 2nd: No8 Onya Rosie; 3rd: No1 Potent Force; 4th: No2 Lawan
Rosehill Race 4 - 1:50PM Schweppes Handicap (1500 Metres)
Looks a one act affair with the talented SEXY EYES (BEST BET) looking to make it back-to-back victories after toying with her rivals at Randwick last start. Looked impressive when rounding up her competitors with ease to stroll to an effortless 3.3 length victory. Is a mare with a bright future and will be winning again.
1st: No2 SEXY EYES; 2nd: No3 I Like It Easy; 3rd: No6 O’Lordy; 4th: No4 Velocita
Rosehill Race 5 - 2:30PM Eden Brae Homes Handicap (1400 Metres)
GITAN has a good record over the distance and shapes as a major player here today. Has drawn a tad wide so expect him to settle midfield or worse and be saved for one big crack at them in the straight. Can make it successive victories after defeating Man Of Peace by a neck at Randwick last start. Key player.
1st: No9 GITAN; 2nd: No7 Chaussure; 3rd: No5 So You Win; 4th: No1 Gambler’s Blues
Rosehill Race 6 - 3:10PM AUSTRALIAN TURF CLUB Handicap (2000 Metres)
SKY BOY (NEXT BEST BET) is a lightly raced gelding with plenty of scope and well placed to make it three wins on the trot here today. Looked impressive when defeating Savacool by 1.8 lengths at Randwick and that form has been franked with the runner-up winning at Flemington on Oaks Day. Ticks all the boxes.
1st: No1 SKY BOY; 2nd: *SCRATCHED* No6 Mazaz; 3rd: No5 Mark Two; 4th: No2 Solo Mission
Rosehill Race 7 - 3:50PM The Agency Real Estate Handicap (1300 Metres)
TIP TOP is racing in hot form of late and will be looking to rack up the hat-trick. Drawn to get the run of the race sees, this Les Bridge-trained gelding comes into the race off the back of beating Fierce Impact and Mandylion after being backed at odds. Ultra consistent and stick with him.
1st: No3 TIP TOP; 2nd: No1 Gaulois; 3rd: No6 Dyslexic; 4th: No4 Coruscate
Rosehill Race 8 - 4:30PM Oh No Darren The Big Five Oh Sprint (1100 Metres)
SEDITION will strip fitter second-up from a break and can atone his 0.8 length defeat by Deft at Canterbury a fortnight back. This gelding has a great record over the distance and has tasted success on the track. Look for him to be flashing at them late in the straight. Danger.
1st: No8 SEDITION; 2nd: No13 Under The Thumb; 3rd No12 Nick On The Run; 4th: No2 Chauffeur
Rosehill Race 9 - 5:20PM Rosehill Bowling Club After Party Sprint (1100 Metres)
Sticking with *SCRATCHED* SEASONS that’s resuming from a break and looks poised to take out the final event going on her form last preparation. Won her past two starts before going to the paddock for a 5-month layoff. Has trialled leading into this and will be the one they all need to beat. Big Danger.
1st: *SCRATCHED* No8 SEASONS; 2nd: No12 Sebring Express; 3rd: No4 Strome; 4th: No3 Goldfinch
