Sunday Racing Tips - 23rd December

Sale and Taree are our meetings of note today and we are super confident we can round out the week with a few winners.

Sat, 22 Dec, 7:30 AM

Sale and Taree are the meetings that our selections come from with our tip of the day perfectly placed to make it successive victories. A speedy customer that is likely to find the top, she won by three lengths last start and shapes as a major player once again.

Sale is racing on a Good 4 with the rail true.

Taree is a Soft 5 with the rail True.

Sale Race 2 - 12:50PM Monacellars Wine & Spirits Maiden Plate (1100 Metres)

Looks a perfect race for AMERICAN STORM to get the maiden out of the way. Came from near last to finish a length behind Rolling Moss at Traralgon last start, which was his third placing from four starts since resuming. Solid claims in weak event.

 1st: *SCRATCHED* No1 AMERICAN STORM 2nd:  No4 Sharkbright; 3rd: No2 Captain Rob 4th: No7 I’m Cheeky

Sale Race 4 - 2:00PM Turnbull Plumbing & Gasfitting Maiden Plate (1717 Metres)

Sticking with LOFTY HEIGHTS. Placed on debut at Bendigo beaten by 2.5 lengths and second-up he will be ready to fire here today. Has drawn well in three to get the run of the race and look for him flashing at them late. Made up a stack of ground last time out and the extra 300m here suits. Big chance.

1st: No3 LOFTY HEIGHTS 2nd: *SCRATCHED* No1 Creative Harmony; 3rd: No2 Homados; 4th: No7 Wineglass Bay

Sale Race 6 - 3:10PM Subway Sale F&M BM64 Handicap (1400 Metres)

ZOOPHORIA (BEST BET) proved too speedy for her opposition at Kyneton last start, leading throughout to win by a dominant three length margin at the finish. Consistent mare that excels over the distance and has placed on the track before. Goes up in class but rates well enough here and should be up on the speed once more.

1st: No5 ZOOPHORIA 2nd:  No4 Spicer; 3rd: No2 Ensuing; 4th No6 Dame Vassa

Taree Race 5 - 4:05PM Summer Beach Party 2 Jan Class 3 Handicap (1250 Metres)

Sticking with MORE CHILLI (NEXT BEST BET) in what shapes as a very open race. This Kris Lees-trained gelding will be ready to fire third-up and looks to have found the right race to bounce back in. Defied a big betting drift to land the money first-up at Newcastle defeating Legion Of Boom before starting favourite at Tuncurry over 1400m and getting rolled. Drawn one, the son of Sizzling drops 3kg from his last run and should be a gun trip. The drop back in distance also suits.

1st: No3 MORE CHILLI 2nd:  No1 Better Not Fly; 3rd: No7 Rispetta 4th: No5 Typhoon Bonny

Sale Race 8 - 4:20PM RAL Constructions BM58 Handicap (1717 Metres)

Lightly raced Mick Price mare ROYAL TREASURY will be out to atone her narrow defeat behind Pritchett at Ararat a fortnight ago. Chased hard after a torrid run to go down by the narrowest of margins and looks well placed to bounce back today. Has the form on the board. Stick with her.

1st: No6 ROYAL TREASURY 2nd:  No1 Game Up Hardy; 3rd: No3 Stratum On Fire; 4th: *SCRATCHED* No11 Spinning Skirt
