We have found a few runners that we are confident will run well at Hawkesbury and Warrnambool today. In form and ready to strike, our top pick is aiming for a hat-trick and has a liking for ‘the Bool having won there four times previously. Big danger.

Hawkesbury is racing on a Good 4 with the rail True.

Warrnambool is racing on a Good 4 with the rail out 6m entire circuit.

Hawkesbury Race 1 - 1:15PM Livamol 2YO Maiden Plate (1000 Metres)

Hard to see anything upsetting AUSSIE (NEXT BEST BET) in the opening event. This colt will be rock hard fit third-up and going on his 1.2 length defeat behind I Am Immortal in the Blue Diamond Prelude a fortnight ago when sitting outside the leader and winner, should be winning here. This is a massive drop in grade.

1st: No2 AUSSIE 2nd: No4 Exceed The Stars; 3rd: No11 Classic Gown; 4th: No8 Beachbreak

Hawkesbury Race 3 - 2:25PM Hawkesbury Race Club Motel Class 1 & Maiden Plate (2000 Metres)

Sticking with last start winner MRS MADRID to make it back-to-back victories after saluting impressively at Kembla a fortnight back. Looked a class above her rivals when streaking away to a comprehensive 2.4 length victory and going on that, we are expecting her to prove hard to beat over the 2000m. Has a good turn of foot so watch for her flashing at them late. Major player.

1st: No6 MRS MADRID 2nd: No4 Uber Lux; 3rd No3 Snatcha; 4th: No1 My King’s Counsel

Warrnambool Race 1 - 2:30PM Lucas Brothers Butchers Maiden Plate (1100 Metres)

DAY ON THE DRINK led and was nabbed in the shadows of the post on this track last start and looks perfectly placed to go one better. Drawn to lead again from gate one, this gelding will be too good for his rivals here today. Key player.

1st: No1 DAY ON THE DRINK 2nd: No2 Samatar 3rd: No5 Spring Nymph; 4th: No8 Weerite

Hawkesbury Race 7 - 4:50PM Bioworma Benchmark 64 Handicap (1800 Metres)

PAMELA has been racing in consistent form of late and will be looking to atone her 1.5 length defeat behind Ikara Miss at Kembla Grange a fortnight ago. Was first past the post but lost on protest when shifting out in the final 50m. A touch unlucky not to get the victory but expecting her to be in the firing line once again and prove hard to beat. A mare in good form. Rates well.

1st: No4 PAMELA 2nd: No6 Kiarra Rose; 3rd: No1 Chocolatier; 4th: No8 Chief Kidder

Warrnambool Race 6 - 5:00PM Flying Horse Bar & Brewery Grand Handicap Classic Ballot Exempt Race 6 (1700 Metres)

Can’t see anything upsetting the in-form VON MYSTIC (BEST BET) that’s looking to make it three wins on the trot here today. This gelding is racing in career best form and excels at this track (5:4-0-1). Has drawn to get the run of the race and expected to get the job done yet again. Ticks all the boxes.

1st: No1 VON MYSTIC 2nd: No5 Wetakemanhattan; 3rd: No10 Trenchant; 4th: No6 Greycliffe
