Kembla Grange and Seymour are our venues of choice as we look to make some money early on in the week. Our best of the day is going to start short but should be winning. A highly talented youngster, this horse is going to win better races than he is contesting today.

Kembla Grange is racing on a Good 4 with the rail out 8m 1100m-WP, 6m the remainder.

Seymour is racing on a Soft 5 with the rail out 4m the entire circuit.

Kembla Grange Race 1 - 1:15PM ITC Corporate members Race Day CG&E Class 2 Handicap (1200 Metres)

The gelding has been heavily supported in early betting and it is easy to see why. Won nicely at Gosford last start and the extra 100m here suits. Maps to be just off the speed and possesses a good finish on him. TEMPLE RUN also finished second to the highly talented Seasons last prep. Third-up he is rock hard fit for this and the small field plays to his advantage.

1st: No4 TEMPLE RUN 2nd:  No3 Sergeant; 3rd: *SCRATCHED* No2 Crackneck; 4th: No1 Fortification

Seymour Race 1 - 1:30PM Mitchelton Wines Maiden Plate (2221 Metres)

ON OUR HONOUR is still a maiden after seven starts but today could be the day for the daughter of Fastnet Rock. Jamie Kah takes the ride on the filly which finished fourth last time out at Pakenham. Prior to that she produced two seconds behind Dogmatic and Rue de Rennes. The rise in distance is a plus. Gets her chance.

1st: No9 ON OUR HONOUR 2nd:  No1 Cool Dude; 3rd: No8 Anna Mae; 4th: No3 Carberry Hill

Kembla Grange Race 2 - 1:50PM Happy Birthday Lincoln Piper F&M Class 2 Handicap (1200 Metres)

We think SHE’S FURLINE (NEXT BEST BET) represents a bit of value first-up from a spell. Out of the astute Team Snowden yard, the filly hasn’t raced since finishing fifth to the very talented Royal Celebration back in late October but showed some good form last prep that included two wins. Has had two trials, winning one of those, in preparation for this. Barrier one is ideal and the booking of the in-form Blake Shinn is a bonus.

1st: No1 SHE’S FURLINE 2nd:  No2 Ragazze; 3rd: No5 Galway Girl; 4th: No8 Alison Of Tuffy

Seymour Race 7 - 4:30PM Kellys Country Homes BM58 Handicap (1414 Metres)

The consistent MARY’S PRIDE will be thereabouts again. The mare has finished in the placings in half of her 18 career starts and has been going well of late. Rattled home two starts back when second to Global Exchange which franked the form big time, winning a Group Two at its next start at Caulfield! Is a backmarker so will need a bit of speed on.

1st: No8 MARY’S PRIDE 2nd:  No3 Kaptive Hero; 3rd: No9 Seueezable; 4th: No5 Coaches Award

Kembla Grange Race 7 - 4:55PM TBC Distribution Benchmark 64 Handicap (1600 Metres)

MR DEPENDABLE (BEST BET) shapes as strong investment in this. The three-year-old was good on debut when leading and running a record time in the race won by Final Award. He finished fifth that day and then backed it up by leading throughout at Hawkesbury on Feb 21 over 1500m. The rise in distance suits and you can expect this guy to be in front again turning for home despite drawing gate 12.

1st: No6 MR DEPENDABLE 2nd: No5 Subban; No; 3rd: No4 Stryke Rock; 4th: No3 Mangione
