Our selections today look poised to run huge races and should be fighting out the finish at Coffs Harbour and Pakenham respectively. Our top pick looks to have found the right race to make it three wins on the trot and going on his victory on this track last start, he will be hard to beat.

Coffs Harbour is racing on a Good 4 with the rail +3m 1000m – 350m where cutaway applies, true remainder.

Pakenham is racing on Synthetic with the rail true.

Pakenham Race 1 - 1:00PM Racing.com Maiden Plate (1600 Metres)

With four placings from five starts under her name CASINO DELIGHT looks poised to break through for a well-deserved maiden victory here today over the mile. Narrowly missed on this track last start and will be out to atone that narrow defeat in today’s opening race of the program at Pakenham. Winning hope.

1st: No9 CASINO DELIGHT 2nd: No8 Afrikaans; 3rd: No11 Night Call; 4th: N5 Lofty Heights

Coffs Harbour Race 3 - 1:20PM Michael Flick Landscape Maintenance Country Only Showcase Maiden Plate (1405 Metres)

Nothing went right for HELLENISM at her debut on this track a fortnight ago and she still only finished half a length behind Tycoon Anna when hitting the line hard from a tricky position. Didn’t see clear running till late and she showed a good turn of foot to finish runner-up. Looked a touch unlucky and can atone for that defeat here today. Stick with her.

1st: No10 HELLENISM 2nd: No6 Maspoeta; 3rd: No11 Mem’s Magic; 4th: No1 Cos I’m Good

Pakenham Race 4 - 2:30PM Duffy & Simon Lawyers Class 1 Handicap (1400 Metres)

Lightly raced gelding out of the astute Hayes, Hayes & Dabernig stable YULONG NOVEMBER looked impressive when getting his maiden victory out of the way on this track a fortnight ago, defeating Bragging by 1.2 lengths. With the good draw, expect Ben Allen to push forward at the start and put him on the speed again. Can take the next step here today.

1st: No3 YULONG NOVEMBER 2nd: No4 Ardee; 3rd: No1 Bricktop; 4th: No2 Southern Missile

Coffs Harbour Race 6 - 3:10PM SKH Tippers F&M Benchmark 58 Showcase Handicap (1005 Metres)

You had to be impressed with the way HIROKO (NEXT BEST BET) finished off her debut to take it out in style defeating Texas Target by 1.7 lengths on this track last start. Going off that effort, she is expected to go close to making it successive victories today over the 1005m dash. Settled midfield with cover before unleashing a good turn of foot to put pay to her rivals with ease. Looks like a filly going places.

1st: No12 HIROKO 2nd: No8 Beechal; 3rd: No3 Millinery; 4th: No1 Invincible Tammy

Pakenham Race 7 - 4:00PM The Coo Cup BM70 Handicap (1200 Metres)

Looking to make it three wins on the trot, ROCKET EMPIRE (BEST BET) is the one to beat here today. Defeated Ellehcim by just under a length on this track last start to go with a dominating 2.5 length victory at Geelong the start prior. Top pick!

1st: No8 ROCKET EMPIRE 2nd: No9 Starvirgo; 3rd: No10 That Song; 4th: No2 Rewarding Effort
