David Pfeiffer’s boutique stables can always produce a winner and today shouldn’t be any different at Hawkesbury.

We have found a few standouts for Hawkesbury and Cranbourne meetings that look perfectly placed to be very competitive.  Our top pick missed away last time out but still worked home powerfully and with a better getaway this time, should be winning.

Hawkesbury is racing on a Soft 7 with the rail +4m 1300m – 400m, +2M 400m- WP, True Remainder.

Cranbourne is racing on a Soft 7 with the rail True.

Hawkesbury Race 2 - 12:55PM Pink Finns Charity 3YO Maiden Handicap (1000 Metres)

Can’t see anything upsetting the Tim Martin-trained YOU’RE NEXT that’s drawn well and looks to have found the right race to break through today. Finished 4.3 lengths behind Disruptor at Warwick Farm three weeks back and in this grade, we expect this gelding to prove hard to beat. Get on - serious player!

1st: No1 YOU’RE NEXT 2nd: No2 Monstrosity; 3rd: No6 Pancake; 4th: No8 Mandalong Ser

Cranbourne Race 3 - 2:00PM TAB Multiplier Maiden Plate (1600 Metres)

Third-up and ready to fire, PEAINTHEPOD will prove hard to beat with any luck in running despite the awkward draw he has come up with today. Finished two lengths behind Bissel at Donald last start when failing to reel in the leaders. Expected to run a big race now that he’s rock hard fit and looks poised to strike. Keep safe.

1st: No3 PEAINTHEPOD 2nd: No4 Tippitywichit; 3rd: No2 Garbo; 4th: No9 Lexicology

Hawkesbury Race 5 - 2:45PM Killahy Equine Benchmark 64 Handicap (1000 Metres)

Trained on the track and drawn to get the run of the race, LARGADE (NEXT BEST) is aiming to go one better than her half a length defeat behind Azcannyaz on this track three weeks ago. Did win well at Kembla two starts back. Has only missed a place three times in 15 career runs. Major contender.

1st: No6 LAGARDE 2nd: No4 Dynamic Bid; 3rd No1 Sedition; 4th: No5 Johnny Roo Boo

Hawkesbury Race 7 - 3:55PM Confrencing & Events At HRC Class 1 Handicap (1300 Metres)

SNIPS (BEST BET) is a lightly raced Snitzel gelding that look to have found a very winnable race. Chased hard when filling in the placings at Gosford last start, beaten 1.6 lengths behind Bedtime Stories when giving away too much of a start after a poor getaway. Runner-up that day (Lancaster Bomber) finished second to Unknown Universe on Tuesday at Gosford in a Class 2 so the form is pretty good. Stick with him.

1st: No1 SNIPS 2nd: No2 Bobbio; 3rd: No4 Happy Hustler; 4th: No5 Martha Heights

Cranbourne Race 7 - 4:00PM Core Protective Group BM64 Handicap (1600 Metres)

We have found a galloper at double figure odds that will be ready to run a big race third-up here today. STRIPPING ROYALTY finished 1.5 lengths behind Wimborne at Bendigo a fortnight back when doing a bit of work but sticking to the task only to find one better on the day. Just needs some luck in running to be fighting the finish out over the mile. Win won’t shock.

1st: No13 STRIPPING ROYALTY 2nd: No9 Allageri; 3rd: No11 Shewearsthepants; 4th: No2 Hinchin Power
