Wednesday Racing Tips: Gawler Best Bets - 4th September
Handy card at Gawler today and we have found a few nice ones to follow for the afternoon.
We have identified three serious hopes at Gawler that are racing in good form and look well placed. With any luck, all three will be winning and are worth throwing into a cheeky little multi!
Gawler is racing on a Soft 5 with the rail out 4m entire.
Gawler Race 3 - 3:00PM (AEST) Coopers XPA / SABOIS Plus Highweight BM 64 Handicap (Aus v Ire Jumping Series) (Jumps riders only) (2100 Metres)
SPIEGEL GROVE has been racing in great form of late and going on his victory on this track last start he will take a power of beating here today. Got tired late but did enough to salute a fortnight ago and has the form on the board to give this an almighty shake today. Confident will go close.
1st: No2 SPIEGEL GROVE 2nd: No1 Exalted Craftsman; 3rd: No7 Blinky O’reilly; 4th: No5 King Valour
Gawler Race 5 - 4:10PM (AEST) Life Member Trevor Lewis Memorial Class Two Handicap (1100 Metres)
Sticking with the lightly raced ENOUGH SWAGGER to make it back-to-back victories after defeating Cibachrome by 1.4 lengths on this track a fortnight ago. Liked the way she found the line over the same distance she faces here and with that under her belt expect her to go on with it now. We won’t be getting the odds she was last start though but she should be winning.
1st: No4 ENOUGH SWAGGER 2nd: No3 Jolie Rose; 3rd: No10 Toorak Road; 4th: No5 Cibachrome
Gawler Race 7 - 5:20PM (AEST) Cornerstone Stud Benchmark 60 Handicap (Heat 1 Sir Prancealot Series) (1200 Metres)
EXALTED DEE has been unlucky at her past few starts and if she gets the luck then she is capable of saluting. Her racing pattern suggests she will get back and be saved for one crack at them in the straight with her explosive turn of foot. Just needs luck to be figuring in the finish.
1st: *SCRATCHED* No5 EXALTED DEE 2nd: No4 Victory Spoils; 3rd: No1 Just a Bigger Dash; 4th: No8 Sand Cat
