We have identified a few serious hopes at Wyong and Moe that have the form to be very competitive today. Our top pick is racing brilliantly of late, winning his past three starts and looks on track to make it four wins since returning from a spell.

Wyong is racing on Soft 7 with the rail true.

Moe is racing on a Soft 7 with the rail out 6m.

Wyong Race 1 - 1:10PM Event Cinemas Tuggerah Maiden Plate (2100 Metres)

Looks a clear top pick to start the day at Wyong. URBINO was beaten as a $1.07 fav last start at Newcastle by today is the day this Kris Lees-trained galloper gets his maiden victory out of the way. Looks to have found a weak field and should be first past the post here today. Should lead and win!

1st: No3 URBINO 2nd:  No2 Maybach; 3rd: No6 Lady Grande 4th: No7 The Borough

Moe Race 5 - 2:30PM Duart Homestead Maiden Plate (2447 Metres)

This race looks a one-act affair with a clear top pick. VIRTUOUS (NEXT BEST BET) looks to have found the right race to break through after seven starts to date. This R Griffiths-trained mare has placed three times including a 1.2 length defeat behind Eliabella at Bendigo a fortnight back. Look for this mare to be making up good ground in the straight. Ticks all the boxes.

1st: No10 VIRTUOUS 2nd:  No4 Nero Veloce; 3rd: No2 Laheeb 4th: No6 Streusel

Wyong Race 5 - 3:35PM Kristen Buchanan Racing F&M Maiden Plate (1100 Metres)

esuming from a 19-week spell and with a solid trial at Newcastle leading into this, REGIMENTAL BAND with B Avdulla is one to follow. This filly finished runner-up at her two starts last preparation before going to the paddock. Looks to have returned in fine order going on a recent trial. Keep safe.

1st: No13 REGIMENTAL BAND 2nd:  No14 Van Giz; 3rd: No8 Akari; 4th: No3 Furlana

Moe Race 8 - 4:00PM Moe Optical Moe Cup 17th October BM64 Handicap (2088 Metres)

Looks a perfect race for the consistent BOOMSTOCK to bounce back into the winner’s circle here today. Tried hard in the straight to find one too good on the day when beaten by half a length behind Skyfire at Seymour a fortnight ago and that is pretty good form for a race like this. Drawn well and will be there when the whips are cracking. Major player.

1st: No1 BOOMSTOCK 2nd:  No2 Blandford Lad; 3rd: No4 Wild Moon 4th: No5 Parallel World

Wyong Race 7 - 4:45PM Blitz Homes Conditional Benchmark 70 Handicap (1000 Metres)

Winning form is good form and that’s why we are sticking with RAMBLER REBEL (BEST BET) which is eyeing off four straight wins. Has had four weeks to freshen up since his last start two length victory at Scone and with the good draw expect to see this flying gelding near the leaders and prove hard to hold out. Serious player.

1st No2 RAMBLER REBEL 2nd:  No1 Traumatised; 3rd: No6 Gunnaza; 4th: No3 Dual Escape
