Sunday Racing Tips: Ballina & Bairnsdale Best Bets - 6th October
Michael Dee is set to have a big day out.
We are tipping Michael Dee will have a fat day out at Bairnsdale and hopefully, give us the perfect end to what has been a huge weekend on the punt!

Ballina Race 1 - 12:54PM Why Ho Why Maiden Handicap (1300 Metres)
We have tipped DARK EURO (ROUGHIE) before so we know what to expect. This guy is having career start number four and is yet to finish in the placings, however, there have been some good signs of late. Finished fourth last time out when beaten less than a length after leading. If he goes forward again then he can run a cheeky race up front.
1st: No2 DARK EURO
Bairnsdale Race 2 - 1:50PM Fenning Timber Maiden Plate (1600 Metres)
Tipping QUAIL HOLLOW (EACH-WAY) to run a good race and is worth an eachway investment. Has only had the one run which saw him finish seventh to the handy Stay Gold after being near the tail for most of the trip. Gets an extra 200m to play with here plus a far better barrier (20) so Michael Dee could have this guy a lot closer to the action. Don’t dismiss.
1st: No13 QUAIL HOLLOW
Bairnsdale Race 7 - 4:50PM Patties Foods Bairnsdale Cup (1600 Metres)
Mick Price & Mick Kent Jnr look to have the Cup at their mercy with HEPTAGON (BEST BET). Although it will be a competitive affair, Heptagon is working its way up to win after three runs back this time in. Finally gets a decent draw (2) to work with so Michael Dee should have the six-year-old closer to the speed than he has been recently. Hard to beat.
1st: No3 HEPTAGON
