Record: 10-6-1

A couple of last collapses cost us last week. Still with a great record since we started these plays.

On to exploit the value in week 17!

Leg 1 – Melbourne Storm HT/FT

The Broncos played well last week in what was a seemingly major upset in round 16. This round, they wont have it so easy. A full strength Melbourne Storm outfit is a little better than the dysfunctional Raiders in my humble opinion.

Melbourne is dominant against the Broncos, holding wins in 21 of the last 26 encounters. The last 6 at Suncorp have been won by the Storm and Melbourne hold a healthy 4-1 record against the spread.

The Storm will grind the Broncos out of this one.

Get on the Storm to be winning at the half and at the final siren.

Leg 2 – St George Dragons

The Titans were embarrassing last week. They dominated a hopeless Tigers team and we saw Jarryd Hayne phoning a friend telling him it was “his house”.

Righto Jarryd, settle down mate.

The Dragons got a shock and almost went down to the Knights. You think McGregor and his players aren’t at panic station by how embarrassing they could’ve looked?

This game will be a battle of wills. The Dragons will be up for it and the Titans simply won’t be.

The Titans have covered 2 of the last 9 at home and also failed to cover their last 3 as an underdog of less than a try.

Get on St. George.

Leg 3 – Manly-6.5

I don’t like the look of the .5 in this one so if you can find a flat 6 take it.

The Warriors rarely win two on the trot and they even more rarely win in Australia.

Manly were not only dominating against a better Sharks pack last week but also they won by playing sustainable effective football. There was nothing lucky about that performance.

The Warriors are 0-5 at NIB stadium whilst the Eagles have covered 9 of their last 12 away from Lottoland.

Manly will win this, and they’re likely to cover this line.

Recap

Leg 1: Melbourne Storm HT/FT

Leg 2: St George Dragons

Leg 3: Manly Sea Eagles -6.5

Approximate odds: 8.39
