Broncos -7.5 (Line)

Approximate Odds: $7

Corey Oates (First Tryscorer)

Approximate Odds: $27

BRISBANE BRONCOS vs PENRITH PANTHERS – Friday 7.50pm, Suncorp Stadium

As much I would like to see Penrith progress I really cannot see them beating Brisbane.

The Broncos simply have too many big guns across the park for the Panthers who I think aren’t going as good as they can. Remember, Matty Moylan is out and most of the attacking spark is resting on young Nathan Cleary’s shoulders.

Cleary will be good, as usual, and Bryce Cartwright gave them an extra dimension last week against Manly so if they are to cause the upset the pair of them really need to be spot on.

Overall though I cannot see Brisbane getting beaten. The game is at Suncorp and heading up there and beating the Broncos on their own turf at this stage of the season is pretty difficult.

I am reasonably confident to be tipping Brisbane here.

I will be searching for value in this game though and I think Corey Oates First Tryscorer is the bet – in fact, it’s my special for the weekend!

I am more than happy to tip the upset here!

Give me a few dollars on NORTH QUEENSLAND here because they are pretty juicy odds I reckon ($3.50 @ Unibet).

Parramatta may just fall into the trap of believing all the hype that has surrounded them following their effort against Melbourne last week.

Teams can tend to fall flat after such a big game and with everyone saying the Cowboys were lucky to escape last week against Cronulla, I can just sense that Parra could be a little flat coming in this.

The extra week will also give many of those Cowboys players who are nursing injuries a chance to further recover.

All things being equal though if Parramatta come out with the same attitude and intensity they did last Saturday, then they will win and win well.

Staying on the tune of going for value, Gavin Cooper will be carrying my money in the First Tryscorer market while the Cowboys 1-12 Winning Margin ($4.75 @ bet365).
