With only two games on the slate we’ve got slim pickings on bets to take. So, we’ll select the two best bets from both games and dish ‘em up nice and warm for you all to bet however you want.
The Broncos played absolutely rubbish and still managed to lose to the second best team in the comp by 2 points. Imagine if they put in a good 80?
The Panthers really combined like a proper team against the Sea Eagles. The absence of Moylan was hardly noticed as the young Penrith spine connected extremely well.
Now, it was a dangerous game, which the refs probably played a key role in deciding. Nevertheless, the Panthers may be getting Moylan back in the line up.
I will only say this once. If Moylan is back in the line up bet the Broncos heavy. Moylan messes with that team’s chemistry and isn’t conducive to good football at the minute.
Best Bet: Brisbane Broncos 1-12
Bet: James Roberts Anytime Tryscorer
The Eels are still without Bevan French, which will cost them in this one. O’Neill returning in the backline for the Cowboys is a boost to a unit that has been lacking in health and firepower.
With the line opening at +8.5 to the Cowboys the bookmakers have opened the Eels in a strong favorite position.
The Cowboys will have acclimatized to being in Sydney (they usually don’t travel well) whereas the Eels will be ruing that almost victory they had against the Storm.
Both teams also had brutal games against their opponents last week. I’d find it hard to see them have the legs for another belter
I don’t see the Cowboys able to get up in this one. Cronulla played a lot of lazy minutes and made a number of mistakes. The Eels wont give the Cowboys the same opportunity.
One thing we know that is fact. The Cowboys don’t roll over. Because of that I think the Eels will win by a smaller margin of victory.

Leg 2: Parramatta Eels 1-12
