5 Best Bets including RLWC, Coolmore Stud Stake, A-League and EPL!
Our expert tips for the Everest, Guineas and more.
We’ve gone through the tips from our experts and collated what we feel are your best bets for the lead in to the Melbourne Cup.
A-League Round 5 - Melbourne City vs. Sydney FC
Bobo to Score Anytime $2.23
There is something about Bobo and finding the net whenever he plays City. In his last 3 A-League matches against Melbourne City, the Sydney FC forward has scored 5 goals. He also comes into the top of the table clash with having scored for the Sky Blues in their last three games.
Rugby League World Cup - Australia vs France
Josh Dugan Anytime Try Scorer $2.37
Did you get on our tip for Dugan in last week’s article?! Well he delivered against England and extended his consecutive test try scoring record to five. There’s no reason to think the French outside backs have what it takes to stop his streak in green and gold.
Coolmore Stud Stakes - Flemington R5 – 1200m
Catchy is arguably one of the best filly’s in the country at the moment and she’ll be looking to uphold that reputation. She won impressively first up in the Danehill before placing in her next two starts including the Caulfield Guinea’s over 1600m against the boys. The honest filly rarely runs a bad race. She’s won twice over the 1200m journey with her only failure being on the swampy Randwick track for the Golden Slipper.
Rugby League World Cup – Samoa vs. Tonga
Tonga by 19+ - $2.5
With the defection of Taumololo & Andrew Fifita to Tonga ahead of the World Cup, the Mate Ma’a could prove a headache to the competition heavyweights in the later stages of the tournament. They have already fired some warning shots in the destructive, 50- 4 victory over Scotland which included a first half Michael Jennings hat-trick. If Samoa switch off in the 2nd half, as they did against the Kiwis last week, this Tongan side could do some serious damage in the middle which Jennings and co could exploit out wide.
English Premier League – Chelsea vs Man United
Under 2.5 Goals - $1.61
Nine of Mourinho’s 12 encounters with top-six sides since the start of last term have seen fewer than three goals, and with just one goal in two games against Liverpool and Spurs this season, it would be naive to expect a different approach from the ‘Special One’ here. Indeed, Chelsea have already had low-scoring encounters hosting Arsenal and Man City this term, with just the solitary goal across those two games and given six of the seven meetings between these two since 2014/15 across all competitions have had 2.5 goals, we’re expecting a tight affair.
Good luck on the punt!
