After a success in last week’s Newmarket Handicap aboard Redkirk Warrior, we’ve once again gone through the tips from our experts and collated a batch of bets to keep you going all weekend & to keep in mind for multis! You with us? Ok here goes.
The Tip: James Roberts to score a try @ $2.30
Why: He was one of the few bright sparks for the Broncos last week, having notched his 10th career double by coming away from the match with two tries. The flying winger was Brisbane’s top try scorer last season with 18 tries, including a try in each encounter against the Cowboys.
The Tip: No7 Egg Tart @ $7.00*
Looks to be back to her dual group 1 winning form after a luckless run for 4th in the G3 Liverpool City Cup over 1300m last start. Undoubtedly with clean running she would’ve stormed over them late. She’s proven in the trop grade (against 3YO’s), a winner at the distance and a winner second-up. She paraded like she’ll be peaking here and gets the services of McEvoy and the speed on to mitigate the luck needed.
The Tip: Melbourne Storm 7-12 (Winning Margin) @ $7.00*
Why: Traditionally the merged entity has given the Storm a hard time. They have lost their last three matchups, however, only by an average margin of 6.66 points.
The Tip: Under 2.5 Goals @ $2.50*
Why: we can expect Pochettino to field as strong a team as possible with this their only chance of silverware this season however without the talismanic Harry Kane & Dele Alli is also a major doubt for the Liberty, goals might be hard to come by for Spurs.
The Tip: Melbourne Victory @ $1.62*
Why: It will be a case of short but sweet for punters here with Melbourne Victory our ‘lock’ of the weekend. The three-time A-league champs are coming off a dramatic 1-nil win over Kawasaki at home which means they’re riding a three-game winning streak. Victory have registered consecutive wins in the league against finals bound opponents and love playing against the Mariners.
We’ve got plenty more tips across racing and sport to keep you going.
Good luck on the punt!
