It’s decider time! Is there anything better? If you’re looking to have a bet there are plenty of ways to get some extra value on Rugby League’s showcase event. It’s all on the line now as the Blues take on a Maroons team that is still smarting after being beaten by 30+ points in Perth.

  1. 1. Head to Head

If you’re looking for value here then you have to consider Pointsbet and their Origin early payout offer. They’ve left very little margin for error because if your team is 4 up at half time then you win*.

In game 1 NSW were up 8 nil at the break so those who backed the Blues had a consolation as they went on to lose 18-14. Whilst in Game 2 Blues supporters were also comfortable at being 18-6 up at halftime and never headed.

  1. 2. Man of the Match

This is a favourite of Origin bettors and is always a hotly debated topic. Last game nobody would have complained if it went to NSW’s James Maloney, Tommy Trbojevic or James Tedesco but in the end it went to NSW workhorse Jake Trbojevic. Ladbrokes offer value here as they are offering an extra Odds Boost on the Man of the Match* market. At writing James Tedesco was priced at $6 which went to $7.50 with the boost so it is rather handy.

  1. 3. First Try Scorer

NSW’s right centres have scored first in both games with both Josh Morris and Tommy Trbojevic crossing the stripe. Being in the unfamiliar position of centre offered great value for Trbojevic @ $14 in Game 2. Ladbrokes are offering an extra Odds boost on First Try Scorer for any player, but you can also get $5 for Tommy T to score 1st, 2nd or 3rd try (max bet $20).

  1. 4. To score a Try

If you’re thinking the Queensland wingers will eventually get over as per Game 1, then Ladbrokes is offering $2.5 for either Corey Oates or Dane Gagai to score a try *(Max bet $20).

  1. 5. Same Game Multi

Same Game Multi’s are made for Origin and when it comes to them Sportsbet are leaders with the widest range of markets. They also combine this offering with a nifty 3+ leg Multi promotion* and Same Game Multi Hotshot Jackpot. I don’t know about you but I like to put a Head to Head, Anytime Try Scorer and Time of 1st Try Same Game Multi together.
