Why Ponga could give NSW the blues and how you can profit

The NRL’s boy wonder appears to be the X-Factor that the Maroons need in Game 1.

It’s Origin time again and the scene is set for Kalyn Ponga to shine on Rugby League’s biggest stage. He is arguably the NRL’s form player having consistently scorched opponents in Newcastle’s five-game winning run, collecting tries and Dally M points for fun along the way.

Last year he made his Origin debut off the bench and was completely out of position, but despite this, he was an instant hit so the expectation is he’ll pick up exactly where QLD champion Billy Slater left off.

Even if Queensland don’t win you can bet Ponga will have a big influence overall making him a prime candidate to take out Man of the Match honours first up. There are a few things working in his favour too:

  •  -  Queensland five-eighth Cameron Munster will give him all the service needed, saying “I won’t sugarcoat it, I will give Kalyn the ball.”
  •  -  The new look Blues right edge looks potentially vulnerable - Nathan Cleary (form issues), Josh Morris (aging), Nick Cotric (rookie), Tyson Frizell (coming back from concussion).
  •  -  In 2018 Fullbacks won two of the three Origin Man of the Match awards. Plus we all know the MOM selectors love a QLD fullback...Billy Slater Man of the Series anyone?!

So if you think Ponga can nab the Man of the Match then $8* with Neds is outstanding value. But if you’re eligible for the offers below it gets way better. For example, a $150 bet on Kalyn Ponga could return you a golden $1050!

Either way Origin never disappoints so strap yourselves in for a cracker!
