Will Liverpool feel the pressure following Manchester City's Sunday success?

Though Liverpool gained an extra point on Manchester City following the round of midweek fixtures, it’ll feel like a massive missed opportunity – particularly after City took Arsenal to the cleaners on Sunday.

The draw against Leicester at Anfield – which could well have ended in defeat – was the first evidence of Liverpool nerves in this title race, and their trip to the London Stadium has another banana skin feel to it.

West Ham, who head into this on the back of three straight defeats, are inconsistent and unpredictable at home: their most recent result, however – a 1-0 win over Arsenal – proves they still have the capability to upset the big boys.

So, are Liverpool vulnerable? Or have Leicester simply poked the wasp nest?

I’m backing a Liverpool win and under 3.5 goals to be scored in the match.

Only 17% of Liverpool’s away games have seen over 3.5 goals this season, and I see them registering a functional-but-hard-fought victory against the inconsistent Hammers.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have won their last two trips to the London Stadium by an aggregate score of 8-1, although I’m not expecting quite as many fireworks this time around.

Next up, I’m backing the second half to be the highest scoring half.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have scored 70% of their away goals in the second half of matches this season and, while they’ve ground out numerous results on the road, it’s been a little sluggish at times.

The Hammers, who will look to frustrate Liverpool for as long as possible, have incredibly scored just four first half goals at the London Stadium this season – compared to 13 in the second half – making the second period a far more prosperous goalscoring proposition.

Finally, for a longshot, I have the full-time score to be 2-0 in Liverpool’s favour.

The Reds have scored more than twice just three times on the road this season, while The Hammers have failed to score at home on five occasions – which is a pretty poor return for a side packed with such explosive attacking talent.

$7.50 for this one is a tempter.
