Hearts v Livingston

This one should be a banker.

Not only have Hearts won four of their last five Premiership matches, but Livingston have now lost four times in-a-row, which sets this up nicely for a home win.

The visitors have two points from their last eight matches on the road – scoring just three in this time – making $1.83 a very nice price.

Barcelona v Real Madrid

There’s nothing like a good midweek Clásico to sink your teeth into!

Barcelona and Real Madrid meet in the Copa del Rey this Wednesday, where I’m backing the Catalan side to claim a first-leg victory.

Real’s results have certainly improved of late, winning their last five matches, although I still see Barca as the stronger of the two teams, especially with Lionel Messi in such imperious form.

Santi Solari’s side have failed to win half of their domestic away matches this season, and while a repeat of October’s 5-1 drubbing is unlikely, I’m still confident Barcelona will head into the second-leg with an advantage.

West Brom v Brighton

We also have an FA Cup clash on Wednesday: West Brom and Brighton slugging out a replay after their goalless draw at The Amex.

It’s a fixture both sides could do without, and the respective managers are likely to make rafts of changes. However, Brighton’s squad depth is pretty impressive this year, and it’s unlikely the likes of Florin Andone and Anthony Knockaert will be kept at bay for another 90 (or 120) minutes by the Baggies’ young side.

It won’t be pretty, and it might take extra-time for the tie to be settled, but I see the Seagulls progressing.
