Friday Europa League Multi
Friday's UEFA Europa League 3 leg-multi shoots at $6+!
Eintracht Frankfurt v Inter Milan
Eintracht Frankfurt v Inter is my favourite Europa League last-16 tie, and it’s the German side who I’m backing to claim victory in this first-leg.
The hosts have won all four of their European matches at the Commerzbank-Arena this season – scoring 14 and conceding just two – and with three wins on-the-spin heading into this, I’m confident they can take an advantage to San Siro.
Inter, who lost away at Cagliari last Friday, have won just two of their last seven Serie A matches, and I don’t believe they’ll be able to handle Luka Jovic and Sebastien Haller on Thursday – two players who have banged goals in all season.
Frankfurt are certainly potential winners of this competition, and a victory over Inter would be a giant leap towards glory.
Zenit St Petersburg v Villarreal
Zenit St. Petersburg are going to take some stopping at home this season.
The Russian side have won all four of their Europa League matches at the Gazprom Arena (as well as six of their eight in the Russian Premier League), and I’m expecting them to do the job against a really poor Villarreal side.
The visitors occupy La Liga’s relegation zone, and have won just a single away game in all competitions since September.
Though Villarreal are unbeaten in their four European away games this season (drawing three), Zenit’s might at home should prove too much to handle, which is why I’m backing them to secure a closely-fought victory.
Chelsea v Dynamo Kiev
This final one shouldn’t need too much explaining: Chelsea to beat Dynamo Kiev.
Back-to-back wins have eased the pressure on Maurizio Sarri, and while Chelsea haven’t truly dazzled in Europe this season, four comfortable home wins from four is all you can really ask for.
Kiev are competitive at this level, but not too much more than that.
