Super Sunday Soccer Multi
We have a $25* cracker of four-leg multi heading your way this Sunday!
Leeds v Aston Villa - The Championship - Sunday 9:00 pm
We’ll start with the biggie, where I’m backing Aston Villa to beat Leeds at Elland Road on Sunday, priced at an enormous $4.20*.
Assuming Sheffield United beat Ipswich on Saturday to all-but secure promotion (I actually think it’ll be a tougher game for The Blades than people expect, but ultimately they’ll make it), Leeds United—deflated after losing three of their last five matches to blow any chances of a top-two finish—will somehow have to pick themselves up against a Villa outfit who have now won 10 in-a-row.
Leeds’ mental fragility is at an all-time high, while Villa is totally rampant, making $4.20* a pure insult for an away win.
Girona v Sevilla - La Liga - Sunday 10:00 pm
I’m always very sceptical of backing Sevilla to win an away game, but 1.91* to beat Girona this weekend shouldn’t be ignored.
The hosts are dropping like a stone; a run of six straight defeats has seen them fall from a position of relative comfort to the relegation zone.
Sevilla has won six of their last eight (including two of their last three away games, which is most unlike them), and with the battle for the final Champions League place looking incredibly tight, I don’t expect Joaquín Caparrós’ mean to slip up.
Nice v Guingamp - Ligue 1 - Sunday 11:00 pm
Despite losing just one of their last 11 home matches (a run which includes five wins from seven), Nice is still $2.13* to beat Ligue 1 basement boys Guingamp.
The visitors aren’t quite as terrible as they were at the start of the season, but just two points from their last six on the road—coming against sides below eighth-place Nice—doesn’t suggest they’ll have too much joy this weekend.
Hoffenheim v Wolfsburg - Bundesliga - Sunday 11:30 pm
Finally, I expect red-hot Hoffenheim to beat Wolfsburg.
Julian Nagelsmann’s boys have registered four big wins in-a-row heading into this, and are now just three points behind fourth-place Eintracht Frankfurt with four matches remaining.
Wolfsburg have lost their last three on the road—conceding 10 and scoring none—and defeat on Sunday should end any hopes of Europa League football for next season.
