IFK Gothenburg v Malmo FF - Swedish Allsvenskan

My first tip is for both teams to score when Gothenburg host Malmo on Thursday evening.

Both teams have scored in six of Malmo’s eight league matches this season, and it’s the same story for hosts Gothenburg: six in eight.

Malmo have scored in every away game, Gothenburg have scored in every home game – BTTS looks a real option.

Belenenses v Nacional - Portuguese Primeira Liga

It’s the battle of the duffers in Portugal: Belenenses v Nacional, where I’m backing the former to scrape through with a victory.

Despite losing their last four matches (at an aggregate score of 19-3), Belenenses are still my pick to beat a relegated Nacional side who have just one point from their last 10 on the road (including a 10-0 defeat to Benfica).

Four defeats in 13 home games isn’t the worst record in the world for a mid-table side, and it’s enough to convince me Belenenses have what it takes to get past their woeful opponents.

Portsmouth v Sunderland - League One Play-Off

Portsmouth welcome Sunderland to Fratton Park for their play-off second-leg with a 1-0 deficit; my tip for this one is under 2.5 goals.

The last three meetings between these two sides have all seen under 2.5 goals, and the fragility of the tie will lend itself to cautiousness from both parties.

Portsmouth cannot afford to concede again, while Sunderland will be happy to protect their lead for as long as possible, which is why under 2.5 goals looks a solid option.
